Sturdy and reliable

I've been using the original MagRing for years, and the version 2 is a great improvement. Allowing you to remove the center bar and utilize a round head flash was a fantastic move.

The build quality is excellent-sturdy yet lightweight-and integrates seamlessly with my MagMod setup. Using two flashes simultaneously is a game-changer, giving me more power and flexibility for lighting situations.

For anyone looking to streamline their lighting workflow, this is a no-brainer. Highly recommended!

Simple, Fast, and Incredibly Effective

Way more versatile than I expected. What I really like is the ability for both me and my second shooter to use the same light stand and modifier, which eliminates duplication of equipment at an event. 

My only wish is that they would come out with one that would accommodate multiple round flash heads. This will let you use one by removing the center divider, but does not provide enough room for two, putting me back in the situation where I have to duplicate equipment.

The perfect solution to a double speed light setup. Secure while allowing ease of use.

Overall I like the ability to remove the center bar to accommodate different strobes. There still is an issue with the product surface getting sticky/gummy after a few months. I'm in Hawaii and I dont know if it's the humidity or what. Same issue with V1

The design is fairly similar to the original, but the orange release mechanism seems more sturdy. 
The only thing I would ask for in the next version is a little bit taller cold shoe mount.

Super versatile 

The MagRing2 enables me to add 2 speedlights for double the power through the MagSphere2. This is ideal for shooting in bright daylight conditions. The build is top-notch, and securely holds the speelights in plance. It's extremely easy to use.

Double the Power Capabilities

I use Profoto A10's so the original MagRing wouldn't work for me but MM listened to its customers and they created the MagRing2 and it's amazing. Solid build, great quality. Easy to use! I use it with my MagStrips.

Finally....a MagRing for round flash head users!

I am one of the original backers and ever since I received my first set I have never stopped using it and building my system. Today I have every product from the line and I use it on all of my assignments. If you are a MagMod user you know exactly what I am talking about. If you are new to the system soon you will learn why you cannot leave to your next assignment without your MagMod.

I like what it does. I can switch back and forth with different modifiers. I don't like how back heavy it is with the 2 AD200s but thats just the nature of what it is.
