I have quite a few of the MagMod products including the MagBox Systems but did not find the need for a MagSnoot until one product shoot where I needed to focus a light to one very specific point. The MagSnoot purchased solved my problem and realised that I can actually do more effects with it.

Bought to work with the MagMod system. Great for channeling the light at varying degrees. Love to use it with the colored gels to get those tight beams of light on a subject.

This has been a wonderful addition to my light shaping things. The snoot is indestructible, and it squishes down to a small size. I setup my flash about 5 feet from the paper and took some shots. The shaping is very good for zooms not too big; when you zoom the flash to say 200 mm, it looks awful. It's brighter for sure, but it looks terrible. Hope it helps.

I use mine to to lite small objects are to add a little hi light. It really works will in hi lighting the food shots I do for menus

I added this in my cart because I loved the images created by professionals using this. Takes probably 3-4 tries to get a hang of it but here I am, with only two weddings under my belt, and both my star images (that have been loved by the bride) from each wedding were made using the MagSnoot!. It only looks simple but adds magic with an edge to your images!
