This was the Reflector XL that I purchased along with the 20° grid and it's lightweight, durable and way more portable than the normal 7" reflectors I have. I use this along with the 20° grid with my 300w cob light on video conference calls at least once per week or to light objects when I take macro photography. 10:10, I recommend!

This reflector was too practical for me since you can reduce it for transport, this was what I liked the most...

What I love about the whole system is that the combination of the MagMod Reflector XL, MagSphere XL, the Grids and color gels and diffusion gel offer SPEED and FLEXIBILITY. 
I can change my setup quickly and efficiently without slowing down the tempo of the photo session. 
I started out with a Reflector XL and built up my kit over time and what is great about that is, my kit does not take up much space in my studio!
PLUS the MagMod gear is what I call, "made for nuclear attack!"...meaning it is STURDY and won't fall apart like other light modifier systems.

When you need to change your setup FAST and need to have OPTIONS!

Great product

I just got 6 new 800w Strobes and was not looking foreword to having to carry around bulky inconvenient modifiers when I set up for sporting events. Thank goodness for MagMod Reflector XL! I picked up 2 of the cases and they store all 6 of the reflectors. Looking forward to trying them out at a large event soon and the ease of adjusting their angle of coverage if required.

Wow factor

All I can think to say is, "Why didn't you guys think of this sooner?" Now I can use my big lights on location with a lot less to carry around and no fuss. Great Addition to the Magmod Arsenal

A super cool addition to our other MagMod modifiers and impossible to imagine our on-the-go workflow without. Another big advantage is that the reflector does not catch much wind and can therefore replace the softbox or umbrella in windy conditions.

On-the-Go !

The collapsible reflector is a game changer. I NEVER bring my ad600 reflector come with me because of it's size.

More functionality, more range, more light.

Finally, a super easy system for strobes! Previously I was using the traditional type of metal reflector over the bulb of my AD600, with those grids made out of easily bent metal. Hard to store, and easily dented. You know, the ones that have color "socks" that go over the reflector if you want to play with different color light.
