YESSS!

I love that the MagSphere XL will attach to my MagRing! There are so many times while shooting outdoors when the wind comes up and my MagBox will blow over or move off of my subject (I don't typically work with an assistant). This gives me the opportunity to provide a larger source of light without the hassle of worrying bout my gear crashing to the ground with a strong gust of wind.

Softer than expected!

My main concern when watching the videos online were the hard light from such a small modifier, which would be expected. After two sessions and using these modifiers, I have been pleasantly surprised at how soft the light has been on my subjects at distances of 4-5 feet away. And shooting at the lake and the wind coming off the water, these modifiers did exactly what I bought them for....stood tall and never fell over. Another great product from Magmod!

Great Addition

I never knew I needed this but now that you've created it, I can't live without it! Absolutely perfect for working on location on breezy days where you just can't use a soft box unless you have an assistant. I shot a family session with this last week and the results were beautiful. Plus, it a time and space saver for transporting and setup. Love it.

Wonderful product

I've been waiting for the design of this product for years. Every opportunity I answered a Magmod survey I would ask for a bigger magboob so I could use it with 2 AD200 . And it finally happened. the product is amazing. I already took it for a spin. The Magphere XL is great. Perfect light source.

Best low profile light diffuser

I love the XL sized MagSphere! Ease of use is the same as the orginal, but now there's more than double the area, so I am able to get softer light on an individual, or light a larger group of people. On a recent shoot, I was able to light 5 people, without any harsh light from a smaller modifer.

Love Using on with my MagRing

I love the Magbox...but when I don't have a lighting assistant, and it's windy outside...I always fear that my stand will blow over. I also like to shoot with 2 flash, side by side, at lower power so the recycle time is faster and I can catch more action in my images without missing the moment due to the flash not firing. I often would use 2 MagSpheres, side by side...especially in mid-day sun. The MagSphere XL allows me to cover both flash with the MagRing. It's super lightweight, and very fast to pop on the MagRing.

The light modifier we've been waiting for!

For us and our style this was the perfect in between for the regular Magsphere and MagBox. We love that it allows us to use two lights now via MagSphere XL and the MagRing. Being able to have both lights on one stand for the harsh lit days has been super helpful. We love our MagBox, but for a lot of the settings we work in, especially our adventure weddings and elopements, it's a little large to want to lug around while hiking and climbing.

I've been waiting for this!

I really love the Sphere XL, for when I want a little more light spread. So far, I've been using it for both indoor and outdoor portraits, and I absolutely love the results. It's a really good companion to the Mag boxes, and basically means you have a variety of light shaping tools at your disposal that are really easy to use, and quick to set up. A must when shooting weddings and you need to move quickly.
