Upgraded to this for Iphone 16
While I have not yet used the lens (need a case) I have always loved the tele lens. My rating is on the customer service I received while using the trade in program. Moment was very responsive to questions and emails and provided such great care to make sure my order went smoothly. Thanks all!

Quality reduction on Pixel 9 Pro
This review is for the Moment 58mm T-Series Telephoto Lens, used with a Google Pixel 9 Pro.
I can't speak to its performance on iPhones or Samsung phones, but my experience with the Pixel 9 Pro was disappointing.
Image Sharpness: I found that photos taken with the lens were noticeably softer than those captured using the phone's built-in 2x digital zoom. This loss of sharpness was consistent from the center to the edges of the frame.
Bokeh: The background blur, or bokeh, was not pleasing. It had a 'double vision' effect that was distracting and didn't create a smooth, appealing blur.

Not Compatible with iPhone16 ProMax tele lens
This lens is promoted on the Moment website and YouTube video as able to be used on iPhone16 ProMax camera tele lens. But this is not the case, I discovered after purchased in. The support team at Moment pulled up a very buried disclaimer to explain why I couldn't get it to work. Moment should focus more on customer expectations than sales.

Exactly what you should expect from Moment
This lens exceeded my expectations for versatility in macro applications. In a recent trip examining low-tide ecosystems, this was the perfect lens to capture details in variable light conditions.

This lens is everything you want for a quick upgrade. The quality is excellent and well worth the pricing. If you want a lense that is versatile and practical this is a great option. It's my first time using mobile lenses instead of my DSLR and I was pleasantly impressed.

I think I expected too much about this product, I tried to learn as much as I can about it but I don't think it improves the quality of the camera, it actually make it worse, I would like to know how is the process for restringing cause I personally don't think it was the best choice for me, thank you

If you have time take the Moment.
It's fair to say that my iPhone 13 ProMax has consistently produced some exceptional still images which my clients have really appreciated because taken on my iPhone has meant that I have been able to instantly upload the images to their websites and social media platforms.
So, how do you improve on that? I thought I would purchase the Moment 58mm Tele Lens. This is where the confusion arose as it seems reading the Moment website that both the M-Series and the T-Series could be used on the 13 ProMax. When I placed my order for the iPhone 13 ProMax case it recommended just the M-Series so, I went that route.
Having previously brought cases directly from the Apple store the Moment version is a huge improvement in functionality, especially the textured area giving a better grip.
When the lens arrived I thought that perhaps the back cap was missing, only to be informed that although the front lens cap was included, the rear was an optional extra!! (Are Moment the only lens manufacturer on the planet that charge extra for a lens back cap)?
So far, having tried out the 58mm lens, to be honest I am disappointed with the results. Having taken images for over 45 years now, I am fully aware of manual settings that need to set on the 'Pro Camera by Moment' app because I started my photographic career with totally manual cameras and lenes.
As a comparison I shot a series of images with the 58mm via the app then removed the lens and shot the same series of images with iPhone 13 ProMax set to portrait mode. I showed the results to a colleague who confirmed my worse thoughts and that was the iPhone 13 ProMax without the lens produced the better results. Back to the drawing board, perhaps I should have ignored the website and purchased the T-Series lens after all. If I could trade in the M-Series to try out the T-Series that might work.
For the time being my thoughts are, if you have plenty of time and patience to set up a shot then try the Moment route, if you need a more immediate image then shoot the subject using just your iPhone.

Nothing to complain about.
Perhaps I did not need this one for my purposes, but it is a well made product and still adds some value. I only wish the provided lens pouch was of a higher quality. I have the feeling that at some point the drawstrings will go.

It's ok but very overrated
Good luck getting the kind of sharpness the promotional images would have you believe you can get. This noticeably lowers the actual quality of the image, and slows down the autofocus. Fun as a gimmick but not a high quality photography tool.

I See Potential
I am still figuring out the lens and its capabilities, especially with the Moment phone app. After the 58mm arrived and I saw its quality, I went ahead and bought the anamorphic 1. 33 just for fun. While I am not overwhelmed with my results yet, I see this as something I need to learn and am optimistic about what I'll be able to achieve. I have not needed much in terms of support yet, but the one email I sent was responded to very promptly and on a weekend.

Nice lens
Just got this lens. It is the first time I have used an additional lens on my phone. It mounts really easily on the Moment case. The lens is significant and has some weight to it - definitely made well. Due to the weight, it takes some getting used to on my iPhone 16 pro. I downloaded the moment app and it is easy enough to use with the lens. I am not an expert by any means but I understand basic camera settings. I have not used it extensively but, the lens seems to work well. I am happy with the image quality so far. I need to spend more time with it before I can give a more thorough review but, so far, I like what I see.

Great lens for outdoor photography
I bought this lens in preparation for a trip to Alaska. Need to reach out further with better glass lens to capture the wildlife and glaciers. This lens will help me have a better trip with better photos.
