Fits well into my 28L Everything Backpack. Like other people, I was facing issues of it detaching too, however I fixed it easily using attaching the clip the other way, and now it stays on there perfectly. My Hasselblad X2D-100C fits perfectly with a 55V lens, both sideways and lens down. The leftover space is used for other accessories, however one can put another lens there too. Overall, this insert seems rigid and protective, while taking minimal space and weight inside the bag

Fits well into my 28L Everything Backpack. Rigid and Protective!

I use it with my Everything 21 L bag and it is perfect to carry my XT5, another lens and the X100F. Love this lightweight insert and I love the color again of the inner lining.

I own two of these, they are amazing because they are modular, fit in many existing backpacks, and protect gear from shocks without fail.

Great modular protection

I love this insert... it fits neatly in my backpack (when I need to take it with me), it has plenty of space for camera gear, it has great protection around it, and on top of that its design (black/red/orange) looks great, too.

Perfect fit and great design!

Great quality, excellent design

I just needed some protection and storage since I swap out my bags a lot. This has a great feel and premium materials. Super customizable and soft inside.

Perfect for my needs

Way smaller than it appears. Looks as big as a pelican case in the photos. Wasn't happy waiting for this on back order only to see how it doesn't really fit more than 3 lenses let alone 3 cameras.

Too small

Doesn't easily fasten into 17L everything bag, but fits in fine.

It does what it does but it's not the greatest.

MTW Camera Insert 5L

It's too tight on the 17 liter and block access to your front zipper pockets.
Plus the cover is just loose on the base on the backpack after installing.

An afterthought on the 17l

We all know most camera back packs are either way to bug or way to small. I have the perfect back pack for everyday use but my camera wasn't secure or safe in it. This was the perfect solution to allow me to use my regular back pack but also carry my camera safely.

It's a nice small camera cube that fits perfectly into the MTW bag. I really like the clever design of the deviders having filter pockets. The size is perfect for a DSLR and two lenses. It's simple and can be used with any bag.

Snug insert for your gear

For a small camera setup this will work. Or even for larger camera's with lenses detached. The real problem for adding this to the Moment backpack is the way the attaching system works. Attaching the bottom strap was a royal pain.

It will do the job intended.

A perfect carry for your dslr w/out grip. So, natch, anything smaller. Well made. The red interior means easy finding of small stuff. And if your shoot is not going well, the color will spur you on!! LOL Good job, Moment!

I really like the design of this insert. The dividers have mesh pockets to keep little items stored. The red color is great for visibility. I gave it four stars because I felt it could have a bit more padding as it's a little thin. Otherwise, a great camera insert.

Thoughtful Design

I have dedicated bags for all my big professional and was looking for something for my film and mirrorless cameras. I was concerned this insert would be big and bulky but bought it anyway to see what it was like in person. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. It's compact, sturdy, and not too big for my smaller cameras, but I can see how it would also do well for my larger full-frame digital cameras. I really liked that the insert was durable without being clunky and full of thick padding.

The Camera Insert I Didn't Know I Needed

This Camera Insert is a great addon with my MTW Backpack 21L. I haven't tried it in another backpack but I can see its potential.

The insert is smaller than expected, especially not as deep as I would love to see. My Sony a7iii with a zoomlens (either 24-240mm or 16-35) won't fit with the screen facing the opening and the lens going "in". When I remove 1 divider I can fit my camera vertically with 1 more lens above the remaining divider. There's not a lot of room for the removed divider.
This makes it a great insert for a small setup like 1 camera with 2 zoomlenses or 3 primes (depending on their size). For people who've got a large setup, multiple camera and multiple lenses, this insert is not for you.

The insert itself is nice and protective. It also has a convenient strap on the bottom to keep the front open when installing it in the MTW backpack.

Small but great fit

what started as a curiosity to stimulate my passion for photography. now I see it as something as a complete necessity to give better quality to my photography work. And since I handle quality items, I also need excellent quality accessories to protect my lenses. It makes me a very good option to protect which lens also with a lot of style. fully recommended
