It's a little expensive for what it is, but well worth it if you have the backpack already. No problems with it at all.

The insert is placed at the bottom of the bag. One could think that setting the bag down on hard ground can start damaging the precise lens alignments of the camera and its accessories when repeated too often. I feel that I have to be too careful while setting my heavy backpack down, to fish out my camera. As many comments have said, it is also too small. However it is a convenient organizer, and I could have it facing up at the top of the bag with fewer issues.

Close enough

This is an awesome camera insert. Fits all my gear.

Great camera insert

Very happy with this. I did not notice the velcro straps to hold it in place until I will putting it in the backpack. Construction of the insert feels study and will well protect my cameras.
I was able to get exactly what I needed in it, but just barely. Nikon Z6 with Nikon 24-70 F2.8 with the lens adapter for older lenses which extends thelentgh about an inch between the camera and the lens. Then in the extra space I was able to put my Nikon 14-24 F2.8 lens. These are what I needed for our trip into the Moab, Zion and Grans Canyon hiking trips in December, so I am very pleased.

The insert is great! High quality, light weight and it keeps my camera safe.

Doesn?t fit Sony Alpha 1,7,9 body + 24-70 f/2.8 mounted + 70-200 f/2.8. 
 
Description says: fits 5D body plus 3 - 4 lenses. That?s probably technically true, but deceptive and not shown in the photos. 
 
Should be sized to fit at least 2 of the holy trinity.

Too small

The camera pack part is a little too small I wish I had more room to put other lenses. And I wish there were more pockets inside for camera filters and such.. but I like the lightness!

Looks good and liteweight. Will keep your gear from bouncing around inside the backpack. I ordered the Strohl Mountain backpack but it has been on back order for six months. Finally cancelled the order. This insert works with that backpack so I could not try it out. Having to return it.
