It is very useful for keeping the lens safe. I'm giving it 4 stars because I feel that when you buy a lens at this price point, it should already include something to protect it. That being said, it performs its function excellently.

Honestly, the caps function just fine, and they are cheap and easy to install. The only reason it gets dinged a star is that I believe that they should just be a default installed option on every lens. Why have only front caps on $150 lenses, so I consider it a necessary purchase/should be included.

The rear mobile lens cap provides compact secure protection for the back of all Moment mobile lenses. I particularly like the way it attaches to the included front lens cap, making it harder to misplace. I use it on both my Moment lenses.

These caps are super easy to install and help keep all the dust and debris away from the lens part that is more challenging to clean. I only bought a couple to try it out but should have gotten one for every lens I have. Thanks for thinking of everything folks at Moment!

Great product! Super simple to attach and it totally protects the lens making it possible to toss in a bag for a quick grab-and-go. Only negative is that it covers up the Moment logo which I like to see on my moment products.

The microfiber lens bags are great for travel or long term storage but a bit clunky for on-the-fly action. Store your capped lenses in the 2 lens pouches with protection against dust and debris. Too bad they don't work with O Series lenses.

The rear lens cap works great. It snaps into place and hold on well. I was glad to see this as I wondered if they'd easily fall off if you bumped into them while digging in your kit. They're super cheap so no reason to not protect your lens.

I don't get why a premium brand like Moment that prides itself on quality and aesthetics (and isn't shy to charge for it) does not include a rear lens cap with the actual lenses. Same goes for the lack of a proper lens case and not just these cheap pouches.

I feel that these should really come with the lenses IMO. But it fits nicely, the strap is a nice touch to keep the front and rear covers together, build is good, and it does the job.

When I first discovered that the rear lens cap was not included with the lens, I thought this was rather strange because both ends need cover. So, I added it to my order when making a subsequent purchase. Threading the rear lens cap strap through the moulded anchor loop of the front lens cap is a great idea and lessens the chance of losing them, it works just like a luggage tag making it easier to carry. I still would prefer it to be included in the overall package though.

I got this to use with my Anamorphic Lens. It's bugged me for a while to have the back of it exposed, and this is a terrific update to the old style of Real Lens Caps that Moment made before. Happy for another simple and effective product by Moment. If you need one, this is the way to go.

I ordered this rear lens cap on January 1, 2025 but it did not ship until January 16, and there was no communication from Moment in the meantime (except for the order confirmation on January 1). I left on a 4-month trip (on which I had need the mobile lens cap) on January 14, so the rear of my new Moment 14mm Fisheye lens is not adequately protected on my travels for the next four months. Incidentally, I ordered the new lens through Fjorden on the same day (January 1, 2025) and it arrived the same week. Unfortunately, for some reason Fjorden did not carry the rear lens cap and strap, so I had no other option but to order from Moment direct. To add to my frustration, the cost of shipping charged by Moment was 4 x the cost of cap and strap.
