It's easy to place your phone in and add a cold shoe grip, keeping the phone stable without any issues. I would love to have a few holes to screw in additional accessories.

This clamp is a very sturdy gear! It is a high quality metal, very solid and compact, and the quick release system is a good choice. The depth of the base is big enough to fit with an iPhone 13 Pro + Moment case and, for me, this is important because I tried other clamps and they weren?t big enough and the phone could slip away.

Easy to use, super sturdy. A little heavier (but who's counting a few grams?), but very low profile and easy to position so it doesn't get in the way of buttons or phone lenses. 10/10 recommend!

This is quite a handy phone clamp! Nice for using my phone to capture just about anything. Great for vlogging with having the cold shoe mount for an external microphone. The internal springs are solid and holds my phone in place with no worries!

Photo's don't do this thing justice. Looks like the throw away plastic clamp from an Alibaba $5 selfie stick, but is actually a fantastically engineered LIGHTWEIGHT METAL smartphone clamp. Better than the MagSafe Tripod Mounts. Whaaaaaaaa??? Oh yes. Your phone won't rotate in the clamp accidentally when you're shooting. Your phone won't pop off when you press an accessory moment lens into the socket. Because the cold shoe mount is built into the top rock solid, you don't have a floppy cold shoe thingy bopping around like the MagSafe option. But the MagSafe is much faster! Not so much. I don't need an extra second or two to check if my phone is level when I pop it into this mechanical clamp. It will be. I don't have to fuss with a wonky rotating cold shoe thing on the MagSafe adapter that doesn't always clamp down properly. If you're thinking about the MagSafe options, try this first. At the very least, buy this mechanical clamp to evaluate it against the much more expensive (and arguably not as great) MagSafe options. You can save some money here, and maybe end up with a stronger, more reliable, light weight, and space saving solution for mounting your smartphone. I LOVE this clamp! Minimalist film makers and gram counters, this thing weighs exactly 69g. Excellent!!

I was looking for a simple iPhone holder with a cold shoe for my Rode video micro or Saramonic wireless for my Ronin SC2 and this was Exactly what I was looking for, no knobs or anything else to mess with, Simple to use and with enough tension to hold your phone in a moment case with lens and filter
