Review Summary

I been eyeing this bag for some time now. The motivation behind the purchase was I needed something bigger. I was gifted a similar yet smaller (and with less compartments) Fabletics sling bag that I do enjoy. I just needed something bigger and I wanted a bag with a wide enough strap. I considered Alpaka slings but their straps are thin/narrow and the styling maybe a little pretentious (?). Anyway - This 4L Everything Sling is awesome. Bigger than my Fabletics bag, smaller than my Chrome Industries sling but very capable to hold what I need while out photographing with a small mirrorless camera or my mobile phone. It holds the basics (for me) and I don't feel like it's over packed or under packed like the previous mentioned bags can be. The compartments are thoughtful, it's padded just enough and it carries well. Another good job Moment.

Quality construction and lots of organization. I can see this working well as an everyday carry with room for a small point and shoot camera.

I purchased this bag for my super 8 camera and it works great. The first time I tested it out it was raining and nothing leaked. The construction is really good. When I made my decision to purchase this item it was because it could be used on the waist and crossbody. I watched at least three independent reviews on Youtube that expressed this but my waist is a 30 and it falls right off. I think a waist of 37 or more does work. When I wrote to Moment they did confirm that the main purpose of this bag is a sling, hence the name. So just incase you also watched those reviews on Youtube and have a smaller waist size, it doesn't work for the waist but is a really awesome sling! Thank you.

I never ever use bags for anything since maybe high school. But now, I find myself carrying a phone, keys, wallet, emulation handhelds, eye drops, random stuff for my toddler son, a camera, a pencil, lens wipes, whatever! It's very convenient and looks great. I found 4L to be a perfect size. I didn't want a bag that was overly big but also not so small that it was rendered useless. This bag carries whatever I need and I just adjust my loadout to suit my needs for the day. Whether it's a camera day or going to work or chill day with the family. This handles pretty much anything and looks great. Zippers and hardware are all high quality. The only sorta downer on it is the padded wall to block off the spot specifically designed for the switch 2 but it doesn't take up much space in the grand scheme of things and adds nice rigidity to the bag so it keeps its form. So not gonna dock it points for that. Still can be used as a spot to keep flat stuff like notebooks or papers. I highly recommend this product but make sure it can fit what u need it for and really understand what it is. It ain't a big bag for ALL u may need for a day. For those days I have backpacks

Bought the bag in grey and it is perfect. Despite fitting a lot doesn't feel bulky and enjoy the sleek minimal design. Mainly use it when I carry my mirrorless camera, but enjoy how much extra space I have.

I wanted the smallest sling possible that would still comfortably hold my Fuji X-T30 with a 35mm prime lens attached, and this fits the bill. The camera slips in and out easily while on the go. The bag is comfortable, padded but not overly so, and looks tidy and compact. The second compartment holds a granola bar or phone, and the little stash pocket fits pens and chapsticks. The olive green color is rich and vibrant, with no hint of brown, and the water resistant ripstop material stays clean. The only small annoyance is the quick pivot strap system, which doesn't always fall into place and needs some manual twisting. Overall this is a super classy, streamlined bag for carrying my camera and everyday carry all in one.

It's a good size. Not too big on my small frame and not too small to be useful. It took me a few tries to find the perfect size sling. This thing carries a 12oz Nalgene, a full size stick of deodorant, a standard size moleskin notebook, my 3x4 wallet, sunglasses, and all the little things. All that without having to Tetris or stuff everytime you take something out or put it back in. I like that it sits up on its bottom side rather than toppling over. Zippers are easy to use and not too hidden away. Strap is high quality and keeps the sling in place on your body if it's snug enough. Easy to adjust if you're bundled and need more strap. The green is a really nice, attractive but not loud green. Just enough organization without having impractically small individual pockets. Only complaints are- the tripod straps at bottom aren't quite as functional as past slings I've had. There's no secret pocket for an AirTag. And no little handle across the top. These sacrifices are worth it for all of the other great features and designs. Happy to have found my perfect sling.

Surprisingly roomy. Will hold a couple lenses or a camera body with the lens removed. Good for walking around or travel. Do wish there was a bit of sticky stuff on the strap to keep it from sliding, but that's a minor bit.

Finding a perfect bag is not something easy, but I finally found this one which is perfect for my OM-5 with 12-45mm f4 attached. And I can carry many small lenses on the side.

Great materials. It fits my camera, phone, wallet, airpods and tech pouch. Wishing some inner organization pockets and a top handle for the next version.

This is the first sling I've ever owned, and I'm surprised at how useful it's been during my trip to Japan. It held a good amount of essentials that I needed daily, which includes: - Sony a6700 - Sony 16-55mm lens - Sunglasses + case - Lens covers - Wallet - Airpods - Passport - various other small items. Perfect for a small camera set up. What's great is that it doesn't look like a camera bag as well. Just a normal sling, so it's more fashionable in my opinion. The shipping process was fast as well (~1 week), which seems to not have been the case for others who have purchased this previously, so it looks like this has been improved on.

Perfect size for my camera! I love how it has a zipper compartment at the back where I can put valuables without worrying about someone opening it and grabbing my wallet.

Perfect size and storage options. Not bulky or heavy as the peak designs. Very comfortable to wear. ??

So disappointed with this bag. The straps are attached to the bag with cheap button clasps that pop off. Dont trust it to carry expensive camera gear.

Love the new grey colour, holds a small super 8 camera and a point and shoot with lots of room for other essentials. Perfect sling.

I spent the last couple of months trying out different photo slings and tech slings for my Fuji X-E4. I like to carry around 2-3 small lenses so the 1L and 2L slings I tried just didn't have enough space or protection for the body plus a couple extra lenses, even smaller ones like the Fuji 16mm f/2. 8 and 50mm f/2. 0. I also didn't want to go full-on backpack or XL sling because it gets to be too much of a burden for me if I'm out all day (I tend to fill the bag with crap if there's space for it). But finally I got the Moment 4L everything sling and it's perfect! It's just the right size and layout for a small body plus 1-2 extra lenses as long as you're not talking full-frame lenses or big zooms. For a Fuji kit like an X-E, X-Pro, or XT-30/50 plus one or two extra lenses, it's exactly the right size. The number of pockets is great and the quality of the material is also very nice. My only wish is that the strap had a buckle on one end for a quick removal rather than only going over the head.

I bought this because I absolutely love my 2L fanny sling, but wanted a sling that was slightly bigger and had some padding for when I'm traveling or out for the whole day. I was super excited, but upon receiving it I realized it's just not what I hoped it would be. It's very similar to the peak design sling, but in my opinion so much more visually appealing. I never liked the peak design sling because it's so bulky and the shape is odd on my frame. I bought the 4L everything sling because it looked slim, flattering, and didn't absolutely scream "camera bag". I knew I'd be able to fit both of my setups very easily in this bag based on the specs, and I was so excited to finally find a bag where I could carry both of my setups in one bag that isn't HUGE. I really wanted to love this sling, and I hope that they can improve it with a 2nd generation that makes it truly the perfect sling. - The seatbelt material strap is a great improvement from the fanny sling strap, however it is too slick and upon turning the sling to access it, the strap bunches or loosens on its own which is annoying. - I really wish they kept the interior side gusset pockets from the 2L fanny sling & everything sling 2L, and put them in the 4L as well. They're very convenient and provide some interior organization that utilizes the space very well. There's no interior organization except for the tablet pocket & velcro divider, whereas the fanny & everything 2L offer some interior organization. It's kind of just a big pocket that everything falls into. - I also really wish they kept the side-cinch straps from the fanny sling 2L & everything sling 2L, and put them on the 4L as well. They're very convenient for slimming down the bag and I don't see why they would take them away from the 4L but, keep them on the fanny & everything 2L. That's one of my favorite things on my fanny sling because it compresses the bag and doesn't scream camera bag. - Lastly, the bottom straps which can hold a water bottle or mini tripodal- the clasp that connects to the bag comes loose constantly. I wish they kept it as a buckle closure rather than a loop system. I don't put anything on the bottom of the sling because I'm scared it'll come loose and I'll lose what is being secured (or rather unsecured due to the hook closure). This sling has a lot of potential, and I love that it's slimmer while still providing protection to my camera gear. However, the things I listed were important for my personal use and led me to return the bag. Hopefully a second generation will be improved and I'll be happy to try that one out. For now I'll stick with my fanny sling.

I'm loving the new slings! The build quality is really nice and the size of this 4L version allows you to carry a surprising amount without being too heavy or bulky. If you are familiar with older slings from Moment you remember the canvas material was a lint and dust magnet. The new ripstop material feels really nice to the touch and doesn't attract any lint which is a nice upgrade from previous iterations. Also, the colors are fantastic, I'm really loving the matte finish of the black one and the new light grey which looks stunning in person. Moment also upgraded the strap with this one both in terms of the seatbelt-like material, as well as size and fit which never was an issue for me but I know some bigger folks had trouble getting the old ones to extend past a certain length. The 4L adds a bit more carrying capacity over the 2L, but overall they are both excellent options for anyone looking for a solid everyday carry sling that is lightweight and reliable.

A nearly perfect sling. Ideal size, nice materials, great zippers, nice finish. Three things would make this bag perfect. 1. A top grab handle. It's so handy to grab and go with a handle. I found myself wishing for it every time I got up from a table. 2. Slightly deeper front and back zipped pockets to fit a large passport wallet or notepad more comfortably. 3. Elastic pouches on the sides inside the main compartment. The angle of the bag makes the sides of the main compartment essentially wasted space. Small stretchy pockets are so nice to hold odds and ends while staying organized inside the main compartment. All of that said, I really like this sling, which is my go to for fast travel. Version 2 with the foregoing additions would make it perfect.

I've been a heavy user of the Moment sling for a few years now and this new upgrade has been a gamechanger. The new interior, padding and extra compartments makes it a versatile carry for mobile accessories or your camera bodies with 2/3 lenses (depending on size) The new straps are also much more comfortable for all day use! Worth the upgrade

It's a good sling bag. Spacious. Zippers are very good. But the way it stays against the body is not very ergonomic.

I'd been wanting to upgrade from my old sling bag which admittedly was meant for my bicycle but this new bag is just a touch bigger, significantly more comfortable and has way more storage.
