From the pioneers of digital video extension technology, the MultiView II DVI-Tx-SAP Twisted Pair Digital Video Extension Transmitter is a game-changer in the realm of high-quality video and audio distribution. This innovative device, an evolution from Magenta's globally acclaimed MultiView Series, now operates in the digital domain, offering enhanced possibilities for the switching, distribution, and extension of video, audio, and serial signals over UTP cable.
The MultiView II DVI Transmitter supports a digital 1080p DVI-D video input, ensuring the transmission of high-resolution images and videos. It's designed to be fully compatible with Magenta's Mondo Matrix UTP-based switching platform, allowing digital signals to seamlessly integrate into both new and existing Mondo-based projects. This compatibility enhances the adaptability of a switching system that can be configured in increments of 16 inputs/outputs, ranging from 16x16 to a massive 256x512.
One of the standout features of the MultiView II DVI-TX is its local DVI monitor-output and a series of user-friendly external buttons. These allow users to easily configure various DDC, sync, and fourth-pair modes of operation. For optimal performance, the device recommends widescreen resolutions of 1280x720/720p and 1920x1080/1080p.
The MultiView II DVI-TX is not only compatible with MultiView receivers but is also backwards compatible with Magenta's Mondo Matrix switching platform. It has the ability to convert a 1080p DVI-D input to a 1080p analog output, and supports HDMI embedded audio. The device also features a local DVI-D Output2 and is rack-mountable for convenience.
In terms of serial characteristics, the device supports duplex serial with 9 configurable baud rates. It's protocol-transparent but also supports serial-configuration mode. With its durable build and reliable performance, the MultiView II DVI-Tx-SAP Twisted Pair Digital Video Extension Transmitter is a valuable addition to any audio-visual setup.
