When it comes to professional lighting solutions, the Mole Richardson 1.2Kw HMI Pro Kit stands out with its dimmable electronic ballast, 50-foot cable, barndoors, 24 x 32" Chimera Softbox, Five Lens Set, Scrims, and Gaffer Pack. This 1200 Watt DayLite PAR is meticulously designed to meet the demanding needs of motion picture, television, event, and ENG/EFP professionals across the globe. Constructed from solid cast aluminum, this lighting kit boasts improved ventilation and cooling mechanisms, effectively eliminating unwanted spill light for a more controlled lighting environment. The Brytal Aluminum parabolic reflector incorporated into the design provides a generous 96 square inches of reflective surface, ensuring optimal light distribution. The electronics of this lighting kit are cleverly isolated in a low-profile trough, separate from the main housing. This design feature includes a swing-out trap door, providing easy access to the igniter and safety switch, enhancing the user-friendly nature of the kit. Drawing parallels with the Type 6641 2.5/4K DayLite Par, this fixture is equipped with visual and tactile focal indicators, allowing professionals to easily determine lamp position. The optional, interchangeable lenses can be used to fine-tune the field of light for optimum beam control, catering to a wide range of lighting requirements. Additional features of this professional lighting kit include a trough skid, a pass-through yoke, a locking, hinged front door, and a pig-tail style electrical input. When fitted with a 1.2K HMI bulb and without a lens, this fixture can project a beam of light of 4000 footcandles 2.1' in diameter from a distance of 20'. The five included lenses can be mounted to alter the beam spread and adjust the light output, offering versatility in various shooting conditions.
