Love the Meural Canvas, it has a lot of potential to be great if Netgear decides to invest on it. First, is not the same as having one monitor with your pictures on it. The screen and technology behind it make your picture comes to life. If you are a photographer, you will enjoy seeing your pictures in the Meural. Even the membership to the museum is a great experience once you put some time into it. The shortcomings of this product is with the user interface and their app. If you are buying this for your relatives, know that you will need to set this up at their house. Why can Netgear make this easy to set this up remotely and only change the WIFI password once it is installed? Internal memory is 4gb, which is not enough. You have access to add your own SD card but there is not way to manage the images that are added into the SD card. You can't move the painting to the SD Card. There are more issues but I hit the limit for this review. But I would still recommend it.

This was a really nice addition to our home. We have it set to a rotating number of images, including collections that Meural updates from time to time. It’s really fun to be able to swipe and learn more about each image. One thing I disliked was the cord. We’re still trying to find the best way to keep it straight and secure along the wall.

You can display classic art works, family photos and professional photos. Multiple way to program your preferences. Thoroughly enjoying my Mueral. Please I also bought the bracket for changing between Landscape and portrait display option. I would recommend for anybody that wants a high quality display option.

Easy to set up and use. Looks lovely. Honestly the only complaint is that it needs a power cord, but that's just reality. It could be hidden by placing it in a shelf. Very happy with it.

First of all, the craftsmanship on the frame and mat is impeccable! It is a completely different animal than the first electronic picture frames that were on the market. (I have the walnut frame) As for the image quality, it too is far superior to those first generation photo frames. It really has the presence of a framed print. I love everything about this device, except that when I rotate the frame from vertical to horizontal (or vise versa), it doesn’t always sense the orientation change right away, and sometimes displays crops of the selected image, or rotates it the wrong way. I haven’t called Customer Service about this yet, will need to report back as to whether that was a glitch in my individual unit or not. My other issue that keeps me from giving it five stars is that the rotating mount is a bit tricky to hang the frame on while keeping it plugged in. I have had it come unplugged when rotating the frame a couple of times, so have had to lift it up, plug it back in, and set it back on the rotating mount. Even with these quirks, I dearly love this device! It makes me happy every day. Really! It’s just so beautiful!

It works as advertised. I use it to show my own photography work, not museum works. The main negative: the documentation for using to showcase your own work totally sucks. I also wish there was a version with a different aspect ratio. It has the HDTV aspect ratio (1.78) but most digital cameras are 1.5.

I love the Meural and the variety of art it offers. It looks great and doesn't really feel like I'm looking at a screen. It's super cool to have a different piece of art every morning when I come downstairs. It does all the things that are advertised very well. On the downside, the swivel mount hangs sort of weird and the piece doesn't seem to fit flush against the wall. There is one piece that sits in the main bracket and it wound up sitting crooked. Also, the wall anchors that you use to install the unit were too long and didn't fit well in my drywall. I was lucky to have different ones that I could use. Better ones could be bought at any hardware store.

I love the Meural display. Adorama has the best prices. The swivel mount is a nice to have, but the display does not sit evenly on the wall so in the future I will likely go with the traditional mount and manually move between vertical and horizontal orientation. I hope to buy more! The package I purchased included a year subscription to the art subscription. This gives you access to a ton of artwork as well as deep discounts on your purchases.
