Discover the power and versatility of the Magenta Research Mondo III 12U 16x48 Full-Matrix UTP Switch. This advanced switching platform is capable of managing and extending high-definition video, stereo audio, and addressable duplex serial signals, all within a single, efficient system. Building upon the success of its predecessor, the Mondo Matrix II, the Mondo III sets a new standard in UTP switching and extension with its optional addressable duplex capability and a host of performance enhancements.
The Mondo III's addressable duplex serial capability is a game-changer for digital signage applications, allowing for the collection of individual display data and metrics, as well as independent control over each display. This durable switch is also field upgradable, future-proofing your investment by allowing for the addition of inputs and outputs in increments of 16, and supports an impressive maximum configuration of 256x512.
The Mondo III is compatible with all MultiView products, enabling the extension of 1920x1200 video, stereo audio, and serial signals over a range of up to 2000ft/609m. It can be programmed and controlled using the onboard touch-screen, Windows HyperTerminal, Magenta's Mondo Matrix Control Software, or third-party control systems such as AMX or Crestron.
The Mondo III also introduces the Mondo Direct option, which integrates video inputs directly into the switch, eliminating the need for separate MultiView transmitters. This high-quality switch also includes front-panel indicator lights, allowing operators to quickly check the status of the unit's power supplies, fans, filter, and temperature. Additional features include a replaceable air filter, two DB9 serial connections, true redundant power supplies, and a new backlit 2x16 character LCD to aid in configuration and diagnostics.
The Mondo III UTP switching platform delivers significant advantages in functionality, cost, power consumption, and installation complexity over BNC-based RGB switches. It's fully compatible with the MultiView-SAP series, reducing extension equipment requirements by 50% and enabling the extension of HD-quality video, stereo audio, and addressable duplex serial signals over an unsurpassed range of 2000ft/609m.
With the Mondo III, you can protect your investment with a scalable platform that can grow from 16x16 to an unmatched switching capacity of 256x512. This reliable switch allows for additional inputs and outputs to be added in the field in increments of 16, ensuring cost-effective upgradability for the future. Experience the efficiency and advanced capabilities of the Mondo III 12U 16x48 Full-Matrix UTP Switch today.
