The Mondo III 16U 64x64 Full-Matrix UTP Switch is a versatile tool for digital signage applications, allowing for the collection of individual display data and metrics, as well as independent control over each display. It allows for the addition of inputs and outputs in increments of 16, supporting a maximum configuration of 256x512.
Compatibility with all MultiView products enables the extension of 1920x1200 video, stereo audio, and serial signals over a range of 2000ft/609m. The Mondo III can be programmed and controlled using various methods, including the onboard touch-screen, Windows HyperTerminal, Magenta's Mondo Matrix Control Software, or third-party control systems such as AMX or Crestron.
The Mondo III also introduces the Mondo Direct option, which integrates video inputs directly into the switch, eliminating the need for separate MultiView transmitters. This switch is equipped with front-panel indicator lights for easy status checks on power supplies, fans, filters, and temperature. Additional features include a replaceable air filter, two DB9 serial connections, true redundant power supplies, and a new backlit 2x16 character LCD for configuration and diagnostics.
