Great quality product! I don't have very many filters however, what I do carry fits perfectly in this case. Great protection for my filters and very easy access from within my backpack!!

I no longer carry as many filters as I once did, but this is a useful little bag to contain and organize the ones I do use.

I haven't had a chance to travel with it yet, but on previous trips I have used the mini which only accommodates the circular filters, leaving me to have a separate case for the rectangular filters. This seems like it will be more convenient

I have several filter holders and this one fit my travel bag the best. Impress nicely and easy to grab when you are on the run.

It's a too small for holding 150mm filters, but the 100mm fits fine. I wish there was a larger version and one with more dividers so I can store all my filters in a safe place. It could use a bit more protection on the outer bag walls, other than that, it's great, well made filter holder for the field, as you would expect from Think Tank.

It seems too big for me to take in my backpack when I am only optionally and infrequently using filters. I wanted to buy something smaller, but Think Tank advised me to get this big thing. I should have bought the mini. What am I supposed to do with all these slots? Maybe I should return this? I am so busy, that I don't know how much time has passed since I bought it. It is still sitting unused.

I looked at (and unfortunately purchased) several filter storage solutions. One of these, from a company that starts with "L", was a complete fail for me. It would not fit my Wine Country Camera 100mm filters with frames (vaults) on. That was a must-have, as I prefer to leave the frames on. That case also wouldn't fit my Wine Country filter holder, which was a dealbreaker. That case has since been retired, used for filters that I rarely use. Stumbled on the Thank Tank (MindShift) Filter Hive it was exactly what I needed. It fits my 6 most used 100mm filters, step rings and WC filter holder perfectly. It has loads of other brilliant features and is excellent quality (as alway). I especially love the strap for hanging it from my tripod!

This is a great product. I highly recommend it. A few things would have made it perfect. One if was modular. Being able to reconfigure it for what filters I have would have been great. There is a section of the holder that has been configured for circular filters. Since I primarily use 100mm square filters it is a waste of space for me. If it was modular I could reconfigure it for all my square filters. Second change would be to make it slightly longer so that you could put to 100 mm filters side by side with a small soft divider between them. Though if you had several individual pouches with more available to purchase depending upon your filter size and they could be configured in the main case that would have been great too.

Great filter bag that has a separate insert containing 6 padded slots for 4" x 6" filters and then another 3 padded slots that have been halved so you can place 6 round filters. You also have the option of removing the inner bag containing your filters and use the outer bag as another utility bag.

This was my mistake. I should have checked. I just figured with all the great reviews on all the sites, it would work. Don't get me wrong, the product is great. Well built exactly what I was hoping for. However, it is just one 4x6 slot away from fitting the Nisi filter system. I need 7 slots not 6. Now I either have to find a single filter cover and stick it in the bag, or leave a filter at home. Think Tank, if you ever update this system, please add at least 1 more 4x6 slot, maybe 2 for good measure.

I love the Filter Hive. I do a lot of photography using ND filters. Having my filters and filter holder all in one pouch makes them so much easier to access. I hang the Filter Hive on my tripod. Great quality and very well thought out design.

Tried another name brand filter case for my Lee filters that stored them vertically. It did fasten to my belt with no problem but was clumsy and in my way most of the time. I saw one of Scott Davenport's Vlogs where he was using the Filter Hive and I checked it out. Liked what I saw and ordered one. I've been using it now for several weeks and really love it. It stores the filters in a horizontal orientation which makes finding the right filter easier. The Hive also fastens to my belt and in addition has a small strap with a buckle that you can attach around your tripod head. So overall, it a much easier use case than the other name brand case I purchased. The Hive is well made, sturdy and a pleasure to use. It is also water resistant I found out the hard way. With Lee filters costing hundreds of dollars don't go cheap on a case. The Hive is worth double the price to protect your expensive filters.

For me, it is simply the best way for protection and carry my NiSi filters.

Just received my filter hive and instantly I can see great benefits of having all my filter equipment in just one bag. It it very well made and will protect all my filters and I won't be having to bend over on the ground and sort between 2 cases. I have packed in all my filters and the holder in it and still have plenty of room for my remote and cleaning stuff. It will be great just to hang it on my tripod and have everything at my fingertips. Thank you mindshift :grinning: I am impressed.

As a safari and workshop operator, my gear takes a lot of abuse. I travel world wide with my photo gear and the importance of protecting it is top priority. I love the gear from Mindshift, it is certainly worth the investment. I am firm believer to buy it once and get the best.

The Hive is a pretty good execution of a very good idea. I like everything about it except that it leaves me without a place to carry the filter holder that is necessary for using my 4X6 filters and my 105mm polarizer. A slightly larger profile/footprint would be completely fine with me and most welcome. The Hive just not large enough to be a complete package. I still have to carry some things in a separate case from another manufacturer. It is a less than ideal. I'm not sure why a design would provide excellent storage for 4X6 filters and not include space for the filter holder and related ancillaries.
