4 Issues, 1 of them minor
I have 3 issues with my MSI GE73 Raider 17.3" Full HD 120Hz Gaming Notebook Computer, Intel Core i7-8750H 2.2GHz, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 8GB, Windows 10 Home, With MSI True Gaming Level 2 Loot Box:
1) The trackpad is awful. Nuanced movements are just not possible. It is not possible to direct the mouse cursor with fine movements. The pointing accuracy is just horrendous.
2) Pushing the screen away from the laptop body causes it to "pop" the body at the left edge where the fan exhaust is located. It is as if a clip has broken or doesn't hold tight enough.
3) A minor issue is that my number 5 key in the numeric pad is stuck on the color blue regardless of what color scheme I use.
4) Speaker loudness could be better. Bass notes tend to vibrate the chassis and make an annoying buzz at volumes above 80%. The quality of the sound isn't that bad though.
I have been seriously contemplating returning the laptop for the trackpad issue. It is seriously just that bad of an experience. I've used this laptop daily for the past 4ish months. If you don't mind the issues that I've outlined, this is an otherwise quality laptop at a nice price.
