I bought one of these to replace my aging desktop and I'm very happy with it.

The combination of the desktop processor, RAM, and the PCIE drive results in a machine that can perform tasks with lightening speed.

That battery is shorter than some laptops, but not that different that other workstation laptops I've used in the past. As long as you're not working it super hard, it'll last for awhile.

The only cons would be: 
- Cost
- Size, possibly a bit unwieldy for those who value small size and mobility. Personally I didn't have an issue with this.
- Noise during processor-intensive operations (cooling a desktop processor is loud!).
