metaSETZ RU-2 Relay Unit for TLC-8D, TLC-6S, TLC-4S and TLC-8S Tally Controllers

The RU-2 Relay Unit is designed to work efficiently with the TLC-U controller, providing a comprehensive solution for your tally controller needs. It connects to the controller using the provided short Ethernet-style cable, ensuring a secure and reliable connection. For CCU connectivity, the RU-2 uses the included 1/8" (3.5mm) 'pigtail' cable.

The RU-2 Relay Unit is versatile and adaptable, capable of interfacing with a wide range of CCUs, each with their unique tally connectors. Whether your CCU uses screw terminals or any other connector type such as DB15, DB15HD, DB25, 7 pin XLRs, or various DIN connectors, the RU-2 is designed to accommodate them all. The RU-2 Relay Unit comes with a color-coded pigtail cable. While the color coding may vary, each cable includes a tag detailing the actual colors. As of this writing, the cables are coded as follows: Green for Ground/Common, Red for Red Program Tally, and White for Green Preview Tally. Please note that the TLC-8D and some versions of the TLC-U only support the red program tally and not the green preview tally.

Ensure correct polarity when connecting, as reversing it may cause both the program and preview tally lights to illuminate simultaneously. With the metaSETZ RU-2 Relay Unit, you can expect reliable performance and seamless integration with your tally controllers and CCUs.
