The 48"x48" frames have been streamlined with the removal of the mouse ears, resulting in a more squared-off, efficient design. As a cutter, this tool is larger than standard flags, which are typically up to 24"x36" in size. Cutters are known for their ability to control light spill from various sources and protect the camera lens from flares. They are also used to prevent light from reaching certain areas on the set, providing you with optimal control over your lighting conditions. This Matthews cutter is covered with a solid black textile material and comes with mounting pins attached for easy setup. For added versatility, it features an extra layer of material sewn to one edge, held in place with Velcro until needed. This allows the cutter to double in size when required, providing even greater light control. To specify hinge placement, use the number with a (B) for Bottom Hinge and the number with a (T) for Top Hinge.
