Bought this light stand to use with a 1x1 LightPanels LED light with soft box. Regular kit stands were inadequate, but this stand holds the light securely. I also bought the 42" Slinger padded case for hauling it.

More than adequate for a 1x1 LED panel

This light stand was what I was looking for. I like how this stand is very sturdy and not too heavy. I got this light stand because I wanted something that can support a lot more weight than typical light stands.  I have placed an Aputure 120D II along with a Ez Lock 36” Deep Parabolic Softbox and the light stand holds these perfect without tipping over, bending and etc. The locking and unlocking knobs are solid. 

The only disappointing thing was the packaging of my item. The box was beat up and the wrapping was shredded which thus left some little grazes on the stand.
