Bought this light stand to use with a 1x1 LightPanels LED light with soft box. Regular kit stands were inadequate, but this stand holds the light securely. I also bought the 42" Slinger padded case for hauling it.

This light stand was what I was looking for. I like how this stand is very sturdy and not too heavy. I got this light stand because I wanted something that can support a lot more weight than typical light stands. I have placed an Aputure 120D II along with a Ez Lock 36” Deep Parabolic Softbox and the light stand holds these perfect without tipping over, bending and etc. The locking and unlocking knobs are solid.
