A single CF-18 chassis can accommodate and power up to 18 CF-HDMI-TX2 transmitters, resulting in tidier racks and a more streamlined and efficient installation process compared to individually rack mounting and installing separate Voyager transmitters.

The Voyager CF-HDMI-TX2 supports the transmission of 1920x1200 uncompressed video (either HDMI w HDCP or DVI), plus audio and serial to distances of up to 6,600 feet over multimode fiber. It comes standard with one MMF SFP, but the transmitter also features a second port that, when equipped with a second SFP, opens up a plethora of signal distribution options. For instance, users could cascade signals to a second transmitter or feed a second grouping of Voyager receivers, which can be daisy-chained.
