Movo Photo AF 25mm Macro Extension Tube for Nikon DSLR Cameras, Metal Mount

While I have yet to do any real Photography with this Set of Macro Extension Tubes, I have done Test Shots with some of my Funko Pops, and I really like the results. 1. This Set of Tubes seem to be built of a better quality, than a previous Set I tried, and returned. 2. They?re easier to attach to my Canon M50 MII, than the previous Set, which as I said, I returned. 3. My M50 MII had no problem using Auto Focus, when using this set of Tubes, though keep in mind that the Auto Focus only works but so well, cause you do have to be within a certain distance of the Subject being taken, and that distance all depends on the Tube & Lens being used. For use as a Semi-Professional, as a Hobby, or just playing around, these tubes are excellent, especially since I got them on Sale, but even if I had paid full price, they?d still be a good Set to use for said reasons. I gave them a 4 out of 5, cause nothing is ever perfect, and while Auto Focus does work with this Macro Extension Tube Set, it was good but not perfect. If you have a good set of eyes (and patience), Manual Focus will be the better Option.

Purchased two of these 25mm extensions so I could use one as a modern version of my M2 (Nikon) with the 50mm Micro, bringing it to 1:1, and to combine both with a standard 50mm to get to 1:1. These serve those purposes wonderfully. A Factor in this purchase was that these are among a meager few extensions with metal mounts. As to the metal mounts, they do feel like metal, however the entire adapter is so light I could not say what type of metal - they feel even lighter than aluminum, perhaps they are some other alloy. I only gave four stars because while providing a surprisingly snug fit, and do not jiggle or twist in use, the body of the extension is inexpensive plastic. As long as the flange screws don?t strip out the cheap plastic doesn?t matter, but still an overall evaluation factor. I would not hesitate recommending these to others, though I would explain what they were getting so they could decide in advance whether those things matter to their needs.

seem to work as suggested. Certainly not a replacement for a good macro lens, but they?re nice to have in the kit just in case.

The tubes maintained the auto focus and all of the electronic functions connecting the lens with the camera. The seem well built. I knock off one star because I don't know how well they will hold up in the field over the long term.
