The Medium Glide Camera Slider Kit is not just sturdy but also incredibly versatile, adapting to a myriad of creative setups. It's a part of the MYT Works Glide Line, which epitomizes the cutting-edge approach to camera slider dolly technology. Since 2010, MYT Works has been manufacturing and delivering systems with a singular goal: to create the strongest, smoothest, and most portable systems available.This kit includes a 6' Glide Medium, an M/L Hi-Hat Assembly with a 100mm Bowl, and a Bullseye Level 3-in-1 Hi-Hat Latch Release. The single lever release feature gives the operator the convenience of three systems in one, with latch pressure fully adjustable via a single thumbscrew located on the inside of the carriage. The modularity of the Hi-Hat offers tremendous freedom to the operator. The top mount can be quickly changed between 75mm, 100mm, 150mm, Mitchell, or Flat Mount configurations to accommodate nearly any type of camera head. The stackable step rod legs can be exchanged to adjust the camera package height as needed.The Medium Glide Camera Slider Kit features a unique hybrid design that combines both a sleeve and a wheel, providing a new level of camera control. This design reduces the amount of force the operator must apply to create a move, while the sliding element smooths any unevenness, keeping the camera's inertia under control. The Medium Glide utilizes 10 mm diameter dual extrusion rails, mimicking the shape of a structural I-beam for stiffness and resistance to bending under load. The Glide can be mounted on both ends, eliminating the need for a third center support. Constructed from anodized aluminum and stainless steel, the components of the Medium Glide Camera Slider Kit are incredibly robust and built to handle the rigors of production work. All of MYT Works' custom components are designed, machined, and assembled in the New York City and Tri-State area, reflecting their commitment to quality and local manufacturing.Every detail of the Glide Line has been meticulously considered to maximize its utility on set. The End Caps are ergonomically designed for a firm, secure grip, and the naturally treated wood prevents discomfort in high and low-temperature environments. The MYT Works Static Plates feature multiple attachment points, including a built-in 5/8" pin receiver and mounting patterns for interfacing tripods and stands. The Cross Rods are 19 mm in diameter to accommodate a wide variety of existing camera accessories on the market.
