I am a huge fan of the Miggo 25 and 35. They are amazing pieces of gear and I use them constantly. The Torso, however, isn't quite as useful. Size-wise, it's just fine, but it's not very comfortable, nor is it as versatile. The stretchy bits on either side of the flap, designed for ensuring water protection by keeping the waterproof portion of the flap flush against the main body of the bag, is actually a bit of a pain and makes taking the bag in and out less smooth. Internally, the camera that is placed in the center only feels stable when a long lens is attached. When a short lens is attached, the camera easily falls out when opening the flap. The long spare lens side works well, but here again, I have to put the narrow end of the lens facing downwards to make it fit, and that further leads to a sense of instability. This bag works fine if there's a 24-70 lens attached to a mirrorless. That makes the camera very front heavy and much more stable. My biggest gripe with this, are the use of buckles. If I want to rotate between both this Torso bag and the 25 or 35, the buckles should match so I can keep using the buckles attached to the camera, but I can't. With the 25 and 35, the left side of the camera buckle is female, and the right or bottom side would be male in order to use the strap only without the holster. But with the torso, both sides need to be female buckles. The lack of consistency here makes using the Miggo line and rotating between bags depending on my needs for the day difficult. In the end, I will not really use the torso bag except in an emergency where I need just one more bag to lend to someone on a photo walk day. I might give it away as a gift or something at some point in the future. All in all, this is a great concept, but it's not quite as well thought out as I had hoped.

Overall, the bag is well made and sufficiently padded. the shape works well for me to sling it from my back to front, unzip, make a picture, rezip, and sling to my back easily and comfortably. The extra strap secures the sling in front. My 82mm lens caps fit in the holder. The wedge shape limits the way gear can be stored. A larger lens attached to the camera takes up most of the bag because it has to sit diagonally across all 3 "modular" bays. Also there are no external dedicated direct attachment points. These are tradeoffs. The only clear design flaw is the auxiliary strap buckles are incompatible with the rest of the system. I bought it on sale and it meets my needs. It took some time to figure out how to best make use of it. I use the camera strap lugs to tether a camera and lens to the bag. With bag in front there is sufficient slack to lift the camera to my eye without untethering the bag. Like any gear there are tradeoffs. It might or might not be the right bag for you.

Purchased the bag for a birding trip to Costa Rica during the rainy season. It worked perfectly...from drizzle to torrential rain to sideways rain all the gear was kept dry. It was large enough for binoculars, small notebook, Nikon B700 camera, bird book, lens wipes, extra batteries, and sim chips. There are two reasons it did not receive 5 stars. First, the zipper tended to stick/drag around the bottom curved portion. Second, the padding divider only has Velcro on the bottom and it tended to fall over and make it difficult to put the camera back in the bag.
