I have owned the Pictar Home studio kit for about 6 weeks now and here are my thoughts thus far. Without a doubt it has taken my amateur photography skills to a whole new level. Pictar markets this as a way to transform your living room into a real live photo studio and I have to say, it comes pretty close to doing just that! The Pictar grip is just straight up awesome! If you’re into taking pictures with your phone, this grip basically transforms your phone into a point and shoot camera. It comes with lots of different menu options but I don’t want to get into the specifics. Suffice it to say both amateur and professional photographers will get quite alot of use out of this gadget. The Pictar Wide angle lens lets me get more of the scenery into the picture. And the images look so much more professional. The Smart light makes my pictures look so much better. Its really small so it easily slips into my pocket and its really very bright. The Tripod works well. I personally don't really use it that much but the few times I needed it, I was glad to have it. Its also really small and portable. All the parts in this kit are small and portable. It’s easy to take everything with me in the pockets of my cargo shorts and I sometimes even forget that they are there. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase.
