It looks cool and its a great conversation piece, but unfortunately that's all. It would be ok for taking pictures to download to [@]

I have owned real Minox Cameras: A Minox C, ec, ECX, and the legendary BL. Those were quality cameras. This isn't. It is clunky to use, the focus control is questionable, and the fit and finish are junk. The side panels won't stay fully stuck down. I thought this might be usable as something I could keep in my pocket, but the image quality is less than my Blackberry. I carried it on one leg of one trip, then packed it back in its box -- never to be used again. I really should just eBay the thing. I replaced it with a Panasonic DMC-TS2 all weather camera -- which is less bulky and fiddley than the Minox and its monitor/flash module. The TS2 fits nicely in many pockets. This is a sad product from a once-fine company. Walter Zapp must be turning in his grave.

The legend lives on! Seeing this camera makes most people immediately think of Bond, James Bond. This is small, really small. It's so wee it disappears in a clenched fist. Or inthe heel of a shoe or other ingenious hiding place. The legendary MINOX spy camera has now reached the digital age.
MINOX DSC Silver...the next Spy Generation...
The new generation of the legendary MINOX Spy Camera is designed in a stylish, highly desirable metal finish and is equipped with a new generation sensor providing a full 5.1 Megapixels of output for very impressive, high resolution images. Moreover the new DSC Silver provides the ability to focus on subjects as close as 23.6 inches.
This outstanding masterpiece in minimalist design and photo technology packs remarkable features into dimensions of just 3.4 x 1.14 x 0.78 inches. The bright viewfinder allows spontaneous, fast shots, even in critical light conditions. In total, these features make the new DSC a very sound optical notebook.
The system has an additional external flash that can be docked on to the side of the DSC. And to provide the user with the accustomed convenience of a display for viewing video and image results, the flash has an integrated 1.5 inch TFT LCD monitor. The image data can be saved on micro SD memory cards of up to 16 GB, in addition to using the internal memory.
The new image world of the small MINOX DSC has its own internet forum on "www.license-to-shoot.com". Original and exciting "Agent M Shots" can be placed on this site and contacts made to other "agents" all over the world.
