Marrex MX-G20M is a new version of GPS receiver specially designed for Nikon DSLR cameras. It is very useful for photographers to organize their stock photos. With MX-G20M, figuring out when, where and why a certain photo was taken is not a problem anymore. When connected to the camera and positioned successfully, the GPS information (longitude, latitude, elevation and Universal Coordination Time) will be recorded as EXIF data.
Compared with the previous receivers, MX-G20M is equipped with build-in Li-ion battery and LCD screen. It can work independently as a professional handheld GPS receiver without connecting to a camera. With the internal electronic compass, MX-G20M can acquire accurate shooting azimuth. In addition, MX-G20M uses a highly sensitive antenna and upgraded GPS chipset to enhance the speed of positioning.
LCD screen
The screen can be viewed even under bright sunlight.
3-axis electronic compass
The internal 3-axis electronic compass can acquire accurate azimuth.
High precise time
The LCD screen will show the UTC time once MX-G20M found satellites. You can get the local time by setting an appropriate time zone.
Build-in Li-ion battery
A build-in rechargeable battery can continuously run for up to 6 hours.
Compatibility

3-axis electronic compass
The internal 3-axis electronic compass can acquire accurate azimuth.
GPS data-hold
If the GPS signal is lost, MX-G20M will automatically reuse the last valid GPS information for tagging the current photo.
Build-in Li-ion battery
A build-in rechargeable battery can continuously run for up to 6 hours. When connected to a camera, MX-G20 will not automatically charge itself unless it's battery runs out.
LCD screen
GPS information and configuration parameters can be real-time displayed on the high-resolution LCD. The screen can be viewed even under bright sunlight.
High precise time
The LCD screen will show the UTC time once MX-G20M found satellites. You can get the local time by setting an appropriate time zone.
Fast acquisition
Highly sensitive antenna and upgraded GPS chipset accelerate the satellite searching speed. Roughly, it takes less than 30 seconds to start the device up when cold, 10 seconds if you just shut it down and one second to wake it up. (On the condition of good weather, open sky).
