Very small and lightweight. Work well both on camera hot-shoe or wireless mode - but only for K-5. Will not work with K-1 - neither on hot-shoe nor wireless mode. No firmware update from Metz to enable it to work. Still looking for a small flash for K-1

This compact flash worked perfectly on my Sony A6300. It senses how much power is needed and my pics at the wedding reception came out great.

Typical Metz quality & design. It is a little strange sitting on top of the camera in a prescribed hotshoe. I have the Pentax TTL version. The unit needs AAA size power cells. It charges up quickly and recycles fast. The extra diffuser is handy and there are various combinations one can employ. The flash works very well on my K3II and off-camera as a slave. No red-eye with this unit and it can compensate for bounce light etc. The manual is thick and in several languages - "EN" in the middle somewhere and I needed to use it. There are some features that are a bit different from other systems, so I would recommend "RTFM" before assuming full understanding of what this can do. Teamed up with my AF360 flash, it offers a wealth of power & flexibility in many rooms and outdoors!! I really like it - also rather cute for a flash. :-)

Great compact flash !

This compact flash worked perfectly on my Sony A6300. It senses how much power is needed and my pics at the wedding reception came out great.
The Metz 26AF-1 Digital Flash for Sony ADI-TTL / Remote ADI-TTL (Slave) is compact in size and fits in a shirt pocket - the new mecablitz 26 AF-1 digital boasts comprehensive features. The flash output impresses with a guide number of 26m/85' for ISO 100/21 degree and 85mm and outperforms integrated flashes. Its handy format makes it the ideal vacation companion, particularly suited to compact cameras with flash shoes. Adjustments can be set using the function keys - ideal for flash novices who expect nothing less than perfect illumination. The ingenious design enables the reflector to be rotated for an indirect flash. Together with the integrated wide angle diffuser, the mecablitz 26 AF-1 digital allows sufficient creative scope for inventive illumination - for shooting videos, too. Because an additional two-level adjustable high output LED permanent light with up to 30 Lux lights up even motion picture photography.
This flash unit is ideally suitable for all compact system cameras (CSC) due to its size and it has a guide number of 26m/85', a vertical tilt reflector and, as a special highlight, an integrated LED video light.
