The case is rock solid,  but lighter than a 12 pack of soda. The foam inserts are easy to manipulate to customize the interior to meet your needs. Fits a Nikon FX 750 with the kit zoom lens attached, a 50mm prime lens, and lots of room to spare. I don't have space for a studio in my house. This case gives me peace of mind that no matter where I leave my camera, it is protected from dust and dogs and at the same time, quickly and easily accessible.

You don't have to be a  world traveler or an adventurer to want to protect your gear.

This case is excellent, well made and the latches work with ease and yet very secure.  The cubed foam is very difficult to pluck without tearing additional sections you want intact.  I have a Pelican case and their cubed foam works beautifully.  I choose Nanuck because of this specific size I needed not available with other brands.  Case is great but DON"T BUY CUBED FOAM
