Nitecore LA10 Compact Mini Camping LED Lantern, 135 Lumens, 1x AA

Had an issue with the lighting modes not switching.  Reached out to them and got a response very quickly to address the issue.  The aa battery I used was a 1.5v Duracell which apparently allows one brightness on the LA10, from my experience.  However, a regular battery from Amazon works great.  Regardless of this issue, the light is amazing for what it is and regular aa batteries are everywhere.

This light is well made and would be difficult to damage.  When retracted the diffuser is well  protected.  Having no switch this light is simple to operate and gives good run time on a single AA battery. All this at a low price makes this not only great in the outdoors but good to have several around the home for emergencies.

Nitecore makes some really cool useful lights and this one is no exception. It feels like it's built like a tank, I can't believe how inexpensive it was. I've used it several times and I think the only complaint I could give it is that the brightness is not adjustable. It's so innovative and fun to play with though. It covers a very wide range with usable light and the center "beam" illuminated slightly brighter. I really like this light and in the future would like to see something similar that's rechargable and adjustable, but for the price point this one is perfect

It arrived on time and in very good shape.  It emits just enough light to illuminate the immediate area and is easy to use.  Very nice.  I would buy again if needed.

I use this at work on locomotives and as everything is pretty much metal the magnet helps a ton for light placement in tight spots and the AA batteries are replaceable.

Decent burn time especially on low. Brightness is easily adjusted from a somewhat focused area to wide-area light. The only thing I wish was included would be a non-magnetic base cap so it would not potentially affect a compass if kept close by. But overall, it’s a very rugged, simple and bright compact lantern with no fire or CO potential in a tent, hammock, or vehicle. Great little light!

Although a majority of my flashlights are of the 18650 type, I wanted one where I could change the battery (AA) in the event I didn't have a spare "charged" battery, should the need arise. I have purchased separate cone tips for my other flashlights, as I use them when walking at night so that I'm visible to cars. I really like the fact that this flashlight has it built-in!

This is a great light, with just 3 design flaws: 1) It should be scaled up to 18650 size. 2) It should have an on-off switch 3) It should turn on at the last setting used. It's bright, highly functional, and the lipstick function works very well for area lighting
