The Nexto DI NVS1501 Portable Video Storage Device is a handheld photo and video backup device with 512GB of internal storage. Its built-in battery lets you backup your photos anywhere-without the use of a laptop. The NVS1510 will enable you to quickly offload your memory cards, safeguarding your files so you can continue shooting. Two built-in slots read CF, SD, SDHC, SDXC and MD memory cards, as well as Memory Stick, MS PRO-HG and MS PRO Magic Gate. The device supports high data transfer speeds of up to 75MB/s when using FireWire and 33MB/s with the USB 2.0 interface. An LCD screen allows you to preview photos and videos from either the internal SSD or from an external hard drive. Included with the NVS1510 are two rubber bumpers, an AC power adapter and a car charger, as well as a USB cable, FireWire cable and a AA battery holder.
Fast Copy
Make a new folder and copy all the memory card data into the folder.
Copy and Verify
After copying, the data on the memory card is compared with the copied data in the NVS1501 hard drive and each bit is verified.
Safe Copy
Before copying data, the NVS1501 verifies that its hard drive area is safe. If a bad sector is detected, anew safe area is found and then Fast Copy will begin.
Preview
User can preview video and photo clip with built-in color LCD. A preview of both the internal SSD and external device (CF / SDHC / SDXC / MS / USB external HDD) is supported.
Copying to HDD
User can sync a secondary copy onto external USB HDD. Export internal data to an external USB hard drive without needing a laptop. Each time you plug in an external USB hard drive to the NVS1501, it syncs any files recorded since the last sync. Automatically compare the video folders by file names and sizes.
MCopy Function
MCopy or multi-copy, enables mirrored data onto the NVS1501 and an external HDD at the same time to achieve maximum data safety. Attach a USB external hard drive to make two copies at the same time with a single click.
Shock Protection
The NVS1501 senses when it is being dropped and the main power will be automatically switched-off. A set of rubber bumpers are supplied for additional protection.
Bad Sector Recovery
If a video folder contains a bad sector, the NVS1501 recovers the video folder to make it reusable and editable.
Success Feedback
When you switch on the NVS1501, it displays a previous backup result, in order to help the user to determine deletion of data stored on the memory card.
Power Options
The NVS1501 can be powered by an AC power adapter, the USB or FireWire cables, a AA Battery holder or the internal battery.
Blu-Ray
The NVS1501 supports the burning of Blu-ray Discs or the preview of Blu-ray Discs, without the use of a computer. Only the BD-R or BD-RE is supported. There is no support for burning a CD or DVD.
