I got the adapter due to not having a WiFi card in my PC tower. When the hard drive crashed the driver could not be recovered. I downloaded the driver an all is good.

I upgraded from my older AC6100 adapter. Netgear Genie was already installed. It took less then 3 minutes to go thru the prompts. Works fine so far (somewhat 1 week)

I tried a cheaper adapter and it was a piece of junk, had to return it. Bought this Netgear AC1200 Adapter A6210 and am very happy with it. Easy installation, easy-to-read instruction pamphlet. No problems at all~ I would highly recommend this product.

The AC1200WiFi USB Adapter was easy to install and put to use. Being a non-techie, the PC upload speed increase was immediate (from 47 to 315 Mbps. The download speeds remained unchanged from my previous 37 Mbps. Pleased the device works seamlessly on my PC. Was hoping for better improvement in my download speeds.

In my last house my computer was hard wired via Ethernet to my access point. Now that we moved it?s too difficult to hard wire my computer so I tried this USB device and it works great. I only do large downloads of programs/updates and videos and so far this is just as fast as my wired connection. I had doubts, but they are gone now! This little device is great!

Won?t stay connected to wifi, constantly disconnects when it?s needed the most, makes downloading games and programs an absolute chore. Tried reinstalling drivers and older drivers multiple times, connection lasts a few hours to mere seconds before disconnecting again. Was the only Wi-Fi adapter available at my local Walmart, will absolutely be getting a different companies wifi products in the future.

Will not stay connected for longer than a few hours, to just a few seconds. I know the issue is not with my wifi itself as i can connect on multiple devices with no problem. Driver updates and software downloads do not fix the problem. Resorted to using a very old, tiny little wifi antenna that has never had any issues, and is still the case. Do not buy this atrocious product, its a waste of money.

When my older WiFi access point showed signs of age, I needed to find a replacement. Based on my prior experience with Netgear, I selected the A6210 primarily because it was compact and had the option of direct or cabled USB connect. I've been using it for several weeks now, and have had no issues with installation or operation.

I use the AC1200 on a Windows Desktop with stand-alone driver. Works great and stable. The additional dock is the icing on the cake for the purpose described above.

This adapter disconnects abruptly and without warning every 15-30mins and then reconnects 2 minutes later. There are fixes posted on forums that do not work, the problem will still persist. Especially for gaming, this adapter will get you booted from just about every game due to the frequency of disconnects. Take your money elsewhere!!! This adapter has singlehandedly guaranteed me to never buy a netgear product again.
