Within a month of hooking this up, it refused to work anymore, Netgear refuses a warranty exchange unless I allow them to access remotely first. Will never purchase from them again.

After years of issues with the Spectrum supplied modem, I finally decided to try a product from a company that specializes in routers and modems. It was a great decision. 90 percent of the constant dropouts I was experiencing have come to an end. Unboxing-simple Instructions- not bad at all. Pretty much plug and play, No password nessessary direct connect to cable company. Add to instructions Insure cable provider resets thier end, buzz word RESET THIER END.....

Have had this modem since 2020 and it's been so reliable and dependable I hardly think about it! It's provided a consistent high-speed internet connection to the many devices in my home with only the rare power cycle required (my last modem needed nearly daily power cycles). Thanks Netgear!

This modem has been running strong for years without any issues. It is silent and fairly low power consumption in comparison to the newer Comcast branded models. Unfortunately, Comcast appears to throttle the upload speed to 10 Mbps on DOCSIS 3.0 modems, even though they can support such throughput.

This was a relatively easy-to-set-up and use modem - it lasted about three years before I had to get rid of it. I'm not sure what caused it to stop working, but it was a shame that it did.

The NETGEAR we purchased was a 2021 model. I had difficulty matching it to my infinity box. I called support they couldn't fix it virtually. They sent a technician out he politely replaced it with a brand new 2023 model. It works perfectly. NETGEAR is A1. I will always be a loyal customer. Outstanding!!

I made two attempts to have Xfinity enable the modem. They could not. I called for Netgear support. Extreamly slow and frustrating. I asked repeatedly, and I mean many times, why the upstream and downstream leds were always solid red. The support person refused to answer that question and after a long, long time on the phone, I gave up and hung up. This person appeared to me to have no idea of what he was doing. The Quick Start document says you can see a red light from the power led, but it does not indicate the condition for a red display on either the upstream or downstream leds. I'm back renting a modem from Xfinity and will return the Netgear.
