AX1800 mesh wifi 6 extender By cutler 12345 I love it it I was getting 8-9mbps I could barely get on the internet, now I steadily get 70-100mbps and on good days or late early morning 100-133mbps a magnificent difference thank you Net gear I love it now I watch 4k movies no problem it is amazing how much better my reception is.

I could not be more pleased than I am with the NETGEAR 4-stream AX1800 WiFi mesh extender. All I had to do was plug it in, open the Netgear app, follow the few easy steps on the app, and have it up and running within five minutes time. The result: all the former dead zones in my three-story townhouse now have excellent WiFi coverage without any noticeable degradation of speed anywhere in the house. Great product at a great price !

I have an old house and was told the walls in my house will block the signal of my router to the rest of the house. My service technician recommended a Netgear extender so I bought this one. The setup was quick through the app and immediately the other end of my house got a connection! I'm so relieved! It works perfectly and for a great price. I've been using it for about a week and am having no issues whatsoever.

For the record, Netgear asked me to fill out this review. I was going to round file this thing and forget about it. I was gifted this extender by a friend who thought we'd find it useful. The issue is it's entirely unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why. When it's not working, we can unplug it and plug it back in and it'll work for 30, 45, 60 minutes, maybe 12 hours, or maybe 10 minutes. This is pretty in line with my experience with Netgear equipment: overpriced and poor quality. I avoid them.

Did not boost or extend anything. Set up was difficult and it was unclear that each device would have to be connected to the extender separately as if it were a whole new wifi system. The app is complete crap. It doesn't recognize your login or separate admin login; can't reset admin login despite it appearing you can. Can't rename connected devices so you know exactly what they are. Absolute garbage in every aspect.

This mesh extender works way better than I expected. Boosted Internet speed in a far corner of the house from 20 Mb download to over 400 Mb download. Definitely exactly what I was looking for, and it doesn't create a second network so I didn't have to switch over any connected devices! Works like a charm!

I got this device connected to my WiFi pretty easily but then WiFi quit working all together. I tried everything I knew and even had to get my provider involved. Finally unplugged device, reset the WiFi system and things are all good now so not sure what happened but I returned the device because it just didn't work for me.

I had high hopes with this upgrade from my current Netgear hotspot that's at the end of service life. Unfortunately that's not what happened. Setup was easy, and because I have Ring wireless cameras that require 2.4G, I selected the dual band setup option as my old one similarly had. Unlike the old Netgear hotspot, this new one did not send a split identifiable signal for each band Ring to connect to. I had assumed that because the setup was for both that Ring would acknowledge the 2.4G side and connect. It didn't, and after hours of messing around with trying to get it to connect I had to revert to the old Netgear hotspot and return the new one to my AT&T corporate store this morning. Searching online revealed that wireless cameras will only connect to 2.4G, and that is unfortunate.

This is a great cost effective WiFi extender. Very easy to setup and extend a strong multi-channel signal throughout your house or range. I highly recommend this who want more range at a very economical price.

Good reliable direct WiFi connection with the router. But my old extender EX 6110 had frequent interruptions with that new router despite soft re-installments, so I needed to replace with a new extender AX 1800. After that everything works fine.
