The Neewer Q6 TTL Flash Strobe is a high-power 600Ws battery-powered outdoor monolight engineered for professional photographers who need studio-level performance on location. Expanding Neewer's Q-series lineup, the Q6 combines exceptional output, advanced wireless control, and a refined dual-screen interface in a portable form factor suitable for both handheld and stand-mounted use.
Delivering a strong 600Ws output with stable 5700K color temperature (±100K), the Q6 ensures consistent, natural-looking results across its entire power range\u2014ideal for color-critical portrait, fashion, commercial, and event photography. The flash supports a precise 10-stop power adjustment from 1/1 to 1/512 in 0.1 increments, allowing fine exposure control without noticeable color shift.
Designed for speed, the Q6 features recycle times as fast as 0.01\u20130.9 seconds and ultra-short flash durations down to 1/7633 sec, making it capable of freezing fast action such as sports, dance, splashes, or wind-blown fabrics. High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000 sec enables wide-aperture shooting in bright daylight while maintaining balanced exposure between subject and ambient light.
A powerful 30W bi-color LED modeling lamp (2700-6500K) allows precise composition, shadow preview, and even continuous lighting for video or hybrid shooting. The widely used Bowens S mount provides compatibility with a vast ecosystem of modifiers including softboxes, beauty dishes , reflectors, and umbrellas.
Power comes from a high-capacity 28.8V 3000mAh lithium battery, delivering up to approximately 400 full-power flashes per charge for reliable all-day shooting without cables. The included handle enhances portability for handheld operation, while the compact body makes transportation easy.
Expanded 2.4 GHz Wireless System
As part of the NEEWER 2.4G Q wireless ecosystem, the Q6 enables advanced multi-light control with professional flexibility. It supports wireless control of 5 groups (A/B/C/D/E), 32 channels, and 99 IDs via compatible Q-series transmitters or QPRO triggers (sold separately) with TTL functionality up to 328 ft (100 m).
In receiver mode, the Q6 is also compatible with the Godox 2.4G X wireless system, allowing integration into existing lighting setups using XPro, X3, or X2 transmitters. Additionally, it works with the Sekonic L-858D light meter (RT-GX module) for precise metering workflows.
Important: The Q and X systems cannot be used simultaneously, and the latest firmware is required for cross-system compatibility.
Advanced Control & Interface
The Q6 introduces a refined user experience with dual TFT color displays, providing clear visibility of settings, power levels, and color-coded group assignments. Combined with smartphone app control, photographers can remotely adjust flash modes, output, groups, and custom functions, streamlining complex lighting setups and long-distance shooting scenarios.
Flash modes include TTL, Manual, Multi (stroboscopic), and Burst, with support for Flash Exposure Compensation, first and second curtain sync, S1/S2 optical slave modes, delay flash, time-lapse shooting, and custom function settings.
