It also stabilizes the carrier on the light source. This is also part of the two stage adapter plate for our Pro Mount MK2.
This is the only part you need if you're upgrading to the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 from the Pro Film Carrier 35 to use on your Pro Mount MK2.
