First 35mm Noctilux Lens
For the first time in the company's history, Leica brings its legendary Noctilux quality to the highly versatile 35mm focal length. The Leica 35mm f/1.2 Noctilux-M Aspherical Lens is the very first Noctilux lens that lets you bring your camera as close as 50 cm to your subject, thanks to a special internal floating glass element.
Ultra fast f/1.2 aperture
The aperture on this Leica lens effortlessly separates your subject from the background. This creates a velvety soft bokeh.
Precise Live View focusing
While you can use your camera's optical rangefinder to focus down to 70 cm, this Leica aspherical lens lets you focus even closer in the 70-50 cm range using the rear LCD screen or a Visoflex viewfinder. The lens features a large focusing angle that makes it incredibly easy to dial in these sensitive, precise adjustments.
Advanced aspherical optical design
The Leica 35mm f/1.2 Noctilux-M Aspherical Lens features a complex optical construction of ten lenses grouped into five. This includes three highly precise aspherical lenses.
Leica created these specialized glass elements using innovative Precision Glass Molding technology so the lens can perfectly handle high-resolution image sensors.
