ARRI Omnibar is a battery-powered, multi-color LED linear lighting fixture that combines versatility and advanced functionality for filmmakers, broadcasters, content creators, and event professionals. Available in two lengths, Omnibar is compact, robust, and waterproof, delivering reliability and ease-of-use both indoors and outdoors.

The two-foot Omnibar 2 and four-foot Omnibar 4 are available with either a black or blue/silverhousing. The modular scalability of the Omnibar design makes it suitable for a wide range of users and applications. From an online content creator using the single bar in ARRI’s Creator Set, to a high-end gaffer using dozens of units on a feature film, up to a lighting designer creating visual spectacles with hundreds of bars at concerts or shows, Omnibar elevates the quality and creativity of diverse lighting setups.

Full-spectrum light output

Building on years of LED expertise, Omnibar delivers a high-quality, full-spectrum light output of CRI 98 at 5600K / TLCI 98, matching well with other ARRI LED fixtures. As well as powerful illumination, it can also provide dynamic in-camera effects and eye-catching design elements, rendered smoothly and in high resolution by 32 pixel zones in the Omnibar 4 and 16 in the Omnibar 2.

Scalable modularity

The Omnibar’s magnetically fixed and easily interchangeable optics empower users to tailor their lighting to specific requirements. Options include the Round Diffuser for soft, ambient lighting that mirrors traditional tube lights and is ideal for motion picture work; the Flat Diffuser, which provides controlled, bar-like lighting for in-camera effects and live events; and the Intensifier, which boosts brightness and focus for high-output applications where precision is key. Alternatively, the Omnibar can be used as an open-face fixture for maximum brightness when bouncing the light, installing into set design, or using a softbox.

Versatile rigging accessories

Rigging the Omnibar is simple, with flexible mounting options saving time in all production environments. Built-in magnets enable instant attachment to metal surfaces in any orientation, and integrated connection points make it easy to strap the Omnibar to rails, bars, or other anchor points using safety cables or zip ties. The Omnigrip accessory allows bars to be seamlessly connected end-to-end for continuous illumination or can be combined with the Omnipin to facilitate rapid setup with traditional rigging solutions such as lighting stands. Omniclip mounting brackets can be affixed to almost any surface at three different angles.

IP65-rated and built tough

With its IP65 weatherproof rating and built-in battery providing a minimum runtime of two hours at full brightness, Omnibar can be used untethered in all outdoor conditions. Controllable via its onboard interface, a Bluetooth app, wired DMX setup, or wireless LumenRadio TimoTwo CRMX system, Omnibar is suitable for permanent installs as well as fast-moving, location-based projects.

Omniclip
The Omniclip is a versatile mounting solution made from tough but lightweight black plastic. Its innovative design allows fixtures to be securely placed on the ground, or attached to walls, at 0 Degree , 45 Degree , and 90 Degree angles. The clip's spacious design accommodates the 90 Degree ARRI power connector without obstruction. Each Omnibar set includes two clips per fixture, providing stability and adaptability for professional lighting setups.

Built-in magnets
Integrated into the Omnibar's sleek rear profile are built-in magnets that provide fast, flexible rigging options while keeping the form factor compact. With no need for external magnets or clamps, the fixture mounts directly to metal housings, beams, or scaffolding in any orientation, maintaining a secure hold without adding bulk.

Eyebolt
Made of high-quality silver and steel, the Eyebolt adapter is a robust and essential safety component for securing lighting fixtures, providing exceptional durability and strength. Each adapter features a customized 3/8" screw design, allowing it to be securely mounted on both sides of the Omnibar for optimal fixture stability. Two Eyebolts are provided per fixture, per set, enhancing both safety and flexibility.

Mini Tripod
The Mini Tripod is an adaptable support solution designed to keep your Omnibar steady and secure. It features four adjustable height levels, allowing precise positioning for diverse lighting needs. The tripod is equipped with dual mounting points on both sides of the bar, accommodating 3/8" screws and customized eyebolts for secure and flexible fixture attachments. One tripod is provided per fixture, per set.

Connection points

Vertically balanced

Built-in control and replaceable battery
Omnibar features a powerful integrated battery and a control panel recessed into the rail system, providing access to core functions such as color modes and lighting/pixel effects. As a long-life product, Omnibar is designed to be fully serviceable-replacement of the internal battery can be carried out by ARRI Service, authorized service partners, or rental houses with suitable facilities.

Omnibase
Providing a central power and data hub for scalable Omnibar setups, the Omnibase allows up to 12 feet of Omnibar 4 and Omnibar 2 fixtures to be connected in a single daisy-chain, or a total of up to 24 feet of bars across two or more daisy-chains. The Omnibase supports six DMX universes-one per output port-with input signals incorporating DMX, Art-Net, or sACN. Like the Omnibar, it is IP65 rated, so can be used as part of an outdoor installation.

Wireless control via Bluetooth or CRMX
In addition to its onboard controls and wired DMX options, Omnibar can be controlled wirelessly via its integrated LumenRadio TimoTwo CRMX chip or Bluetooth Omnibar app. The new ARRI Bluetooth Mesh Protocol allows fixtures to relay control signals between each other to extend range and improve connection stability without additional hardware. Even Bluetooth effects can be controlled and kept in sync via the app.

Extra brightness when you need it
Using Omnibar without an optic as an open-face source makes it exceptionally bright (while still IP65-rated), which is a useful option when equipping the bar with a third-party accessory such as the DoPchoice AIRGLOW or SNAPBAG. In addition, Omnibar offers a Boost Mode that can be used in temperate climates, providing 25% more output at 3200K.
