For the money?.It?s reception isn?t bad, it isn?t good either. Setup was easy enough but if your buying this to extend Wi-Fi coverage I suggest you look elsewhere. If you?re trying fill some weak areas this unit will do exactly that, plug a hole. Speeds through your ISP are fairly consistent. I average around 500mbps. However I?m within 20feet. Once I get 30+ feet away speeds drop dramatically. All in all it provides a steady stream of data within a short distance.

This was a very cost effective solution to my need to replace and older router being used as an access point. The Netgear Access point has good signal strength and as a bonus WiFi 6. How can you go wrong? I might just buy another one,

Very happy that I got a dual band. 5g is extremely fast, but unfortunately I dropped my phone and it messed something up on it and quit working. I'm due to get a new phone soon. Luckily I had an old phone, 6 years old, that still worked and it hooked up to the other band. My TV hooked up to the 5G easily and streaming is awesome. And the price was insanely good. Very happy that I came across.

I got mine for $40 which was a great deal for a fast access point. It was annoying that a device sold as an access point is defaulted to router mode. Seems like a number of people don?t know what an access point is and complained. I was able to get it set up without too much trouble and now I don?t even have to think about it.

The device seems to work, but installation was very difficult for a non-expert. The instructions are useless, certainly not plug-and-play. I got it working, although the 2.4G channel may not be working properly, only by talking it through with Netgear Tech Support. The tech support was great.

At first, it wasn't setting up properly, but customer service was able to sort it out for me, and I had the WiFi up and running. Great reliable WiFi for 2 bdr Apt, with 5 mobile devices.

The device arrived on time, well packaged, directly from Netgear. Setup was very straightforward following the Wizard, The only very minor point was that the Wizard did not give the option to choose Router or WAP mode, so at the end of the install it was necessary to log into the device and change from the default Router mode to WAP mode. The device stands in a vertical orientation with lights on the front and RJ45 and power connections on the back, so it's ideal for positioning on a desk. Wired and wireless connections are in use. Wireless clients are making use of 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz bands. In the small office environment no performance problems have been observed or reported thus far. Overall, a very smooth integration into the existing infrastructure.

Purchased this as an add-on for a Verizon Home LTE (due to the number of wireless clients the Verizon Home LTE will support and it works well. No complaints at all and I can highly recommend this product. The range is fantastic and I havent run into an issue yet.

I'd recommend following the instructions here, online, rather than the ones that come in the box. Everything was a pretty smooth setup, except for maybe the firmware update. The page in the browser kept on loading and loading, but once I noticed that the lights on the access point stopped blinking for some time and were stable, I just refreshed the page and my access point found no new updates. The range is great, far greater than I expected. Pleased with this purchase and glad that the shipping was fast.

For the price, these access points cannot be beat. We installed these in several locations around our City and they have worked flawlessly. Range is very good and we have had up to 50 guest connected at one time.

I bought this to supplement my existing isp provided router combo due to the isp insisting on limiting the number of client devices. Thus this has been working as well as it should. The wifi is okay for a smaller location. The support for 3 ssid's is nice. Other than that it's a plain router/AP switch combo that just works and this is what I needed!
