Holds plenty of gear

This bag holds lots of gear: two bodies with lens attached and two extra lens, plus filters, remote, batteries, etc. The bare camera strap could be improved on.

As expectedly

Light, organizes pockets, adjustable inside depending on what type of lens you bring.. A 70-200 will fit. Description as expected. Note: It does not have a rain cover so I bought it separate. Not a big deal to me.

Great bag for compact advanced camera

Fits my Canon G3X perfectly; even with the viewfinder and hood attached. Also room for other filters and battery charger.

Great Backpack for the Casual Traveller

If you're not traveling in harsh conditions and you're just looking for a trusty bag to effectively carry all your stuff, this bag will do the trick. I recommend putting a patch over the National Geographic logo so it doesn't hint to people that you have a lot of expensive equipment in your bag.

Tight fit

This bag is well made and very nice. It is however a bit smaller than I expected. It said that it would fit a small mirrorless DSLR and 2 lenses. They better be 2 very small lenses and a small camera, and expect no extra space. That being said...a nice tight bag.

Very Nice Camera Belt-Pack

My wife and I use these for our point-shoots, and I have a couple of these for various other cameras, including a Fuji W3 stereo, and an Olympus Trip 35 film camera. They are very sturdy, provide reasonable protection, can be used as belt packs and include shoulder straps. They also come in a wide assortment of sizes, so you should be able to find one to fit almost any camera.

Perfect for this travel writer and transit junkie

I'm a travel writer from the US who spends most of my time in train and bus stations or trekking through city streets. This bag has been a real asset to my work. There a quite a few details that make it a special piece. The movable/removable separating padding for the bottom compartment, the upper compartment's ability to unzip making it one whole bag, the laptop space, the loops on the side for tying pieces of gear on (I use parachute cord for this more than the actual pull strap). Comfortable and functional, with a space for a water bottle in the side pockets, and also reminiscent of a more romantic age of travel. Gotta say, highly recommended. But do yourself a favor and sew a patch over the National Geographic logo. Not only does that mark it as a prime target for theft, it's also just plain cheesy-looking.

Just what I wanted

Christine S. I needed something that would hold more than my camera: extra batteries, notepad, pen, and my wallet, so I'd have just one thing to carry to shoots. Very well constructed and beautiful.

Bag works great for mirror less camera

This bag is just the right size for a camera and its components as long as it is a smaller mirror less camera.

It's a nice bag

It's a nice bag. Seems to be well made. It would be perfect for a small dslr with lens and 1 additional lens. Room for batteries, flash cards, etc in the pockets. Not real happy with the closures. Not very speedy removing the camera. The bag is not heavily padded. Something to consider.

Well Made

lots of space for all my crap; the 2 snaps on one of the pockets are hard to close, otherwise, meets all my needs and expectations.

Sweet Backpack

I never realized how hard my life was before receiving my NG Explorer Backpack. Suddenly the air smells sweeter, I look 20 yrs younger, my wife wants me every night, and my Daughter stops texting when I walk by....Ok-Ok, I made the Daughter stops texting part up. It's like the backpack fairies knew exactly how much room I needed for all my equipment. Buy this item and it will change you're miserable life for the better!

Right Size and very comforable

My D7100 Nikon and 16-80 lens fits perfect. The small front pocket handles my extra little things I carry. Plus I use it for my extra lens when I do short hikes.I was looking for a bag that was small and out of the way when I do 8-10 mile hikes. It Fits the Bill !!
