Nissin MG10 Wireless Flash with Air 10s Commander for Canon

What sets the MG10 Wireless Flash with Air 10s Commander for Canon apart is its advanced Nissin Air System (NAS), a proprietary 2.4GHz radio transmission wireless flash system that has earned FCC and other international technical standards certifications. Unlike traditional optical wireless transmitters, this system is less affected by angle and obstacle limitations, offering a robust signal coverage of up to 100 meters.

The Air 10s Commander allows you to set transmission channels and radio transmission IDs to prevent misfiring due to signal interference on the same channel. It can control up to 4 groups of Nissin Flash Di700A, i60A, or Nissin Receiver Air R, offering a user-friendly operation panel and a variety of functions for added convenience.

The MG10 Wireless Flash features a patented design with a magnetically contacted motorized zoom head. This removable external motorized zoom enables the MG10 to zoom from 24 - 200mm and 18mm with a diffuser. It also offers manual and auto synchronization of lens focal length via the Air 10s.

When it comes to recycling time, the MG10 excels. With two Li-ion batteries with PS 8, type 26650, the recycling time is a mere 1.5 seconds. Even with two standard Li-ion batteries, the recycle time is approximately 2.8 seconds. You can expect around 500 flashes with two 5000mAh Li-ion batteries or higher. With eight AA batteries, the recycle time is approximately 3.5 seconds.

The MG10 also boasts a high-power LED modelling light without a zoom head, making it an ideal choice for studio usage. Its "open mode" allows multiple Air10s units to pair with the same group of MG10 strobes, eliminating the need to re-pair devices. This feature enables multiple cameras and commanders to share the same group of NAS strobes (MG10), even if cameras are changed mid-shoot.

The MG10 supports up to 8 groups via the Air 10s, offering independent control of exposure settings in TTL or M mode. It also features a Micro SD card slot for easy updates, a feature Nissin plans to include on all future strobes and commanders.

Please note that while the NAS stands for Nissin Air System, a proprietary optical wireless TTL communication system developed by Nissin for 2.4GHz radio transmission, the rear curtain sync function cannot be used for Canon Mount devices set to Mode II. Also, batteries are not included with this product.
