Shopper : Is this compatible with a Nikon D5100?
Kapil B : Is this compatible with my Nikon D850 ?JAE THOMAS S : Yes! They are both F Mount! :)Joel C : Yes but because it is a dx lens the camera will auto crop the image. Please keep in mind that the dx multiplication factor still comes into play. The result is a 15 - 36mm lens.ROBERT L : Sorry, but it is not. Your D850 has a full frame sensor and this lens is made for a cropped sensor camera (D500, D5600, etc). I would suggest Nikon's 16-35 f4 wide angle lens. It covers close to the same angle of view and would be a perfect match for your 850.
Shelly A : Is this compatible with my Nikon D60?DANNY A B : Yes, it does work with the Nikon D60

I trust the Nikon brand and I am willing to take a chance on a refurbished item.

So far, so good. 10 mm is an interesting perspective.

Great lens for capturing landscapes.

This is my favourite lens for getting great landscapes. The 109 degree angle of view easily captures everything you want without having to go to a fisheye. Also works great in urban areas where regular lenses don’t work well.

Excellent Nikon USA lens

Its what I've always wanted: a Nikon 10-24 wide angle lens. Learning landscape and haven't really got to use it yet, but very excited to. Love that its an actual Nikon certified lens and I received extended warranty. Thank you so much.

Has some serious distortion at the edges but a good lens

For 95% of circumstances this is a great lens for landscape photography and the 10mm really does help. However, it is pretty much useless for night sky photos. The edges blur way too much and aren't really usable, plus f/3.5 isn't enough to get a bright photo with lots of stars. Still recommend, but the 17-55mm f/2.8 DX Nikkor is better for the Milky Way,

Nice lens, a little pricey

Just got this lens and am very happy with its appearance and performance. It has a clean, easy to use design and is quite light. I am also very pleased with its angle of view, especially in indoor settings. I am glad that I added this lens to my set up!

Great lens for DX.

The 10 mm end is too fish eye. But stop down to just 12 mm and it sharpens up nicely with great Bokeh.

A must have lens

I've always struggled with my regular lens to get everything into the shot, especially when in confined space. This is also good to capture the vastness of beautiful Alaska landscape. This is also a fun lens to have when you want to take whimsical pictures of pets with all the distortion it creates.

Great for Landscapes

I got this for landscapes and I was very happy to have this during my my most recent travels. I use this on a tripod 99% of the time and shoot mainly around f/8-11. It's sharp enough for my purposes. I didn't need a super fast lens. I'm quite happy and love the ultra wide perspective.

Front focus problem

Tris lens has problems with the front focus. It was impossible to fix fine tunning the camera. I compared this lens with Tokina 12-28, and I saw no significant difference in sharpness. Tokina is half the price than Nikon.

Great Lens For Tight Spaces

I bought this lens for shooting in tight spaces such as real estate photography. This certainly can capture smaller rooms and help give the perception of space.

OK Lens

For the price - not too pleased. The lens is tough to manage if you aren't familiar with fish-eye wide-angle lens options. You can actually capture the shadow of of the lens in shots if you aren't in the proper location in relationship to your light source. The pics aren't too clear or crisp - but this lens can definitely capture the "wideness" of whatever you are viewing. It may be more advised to go with Nikon's 12-24mm. I am using this on my Nikon 7200.

Just Plain Defective

Nikon hasn't always been know for excellence in quality control, and I guess I've finally become a victim of their lapses. My copy of this lens was exceptionally disappointing - it had a serious front focus issue. I tested (wide open and at f8) it on two cameras (both of which work fine with other lenses), and got the same result on both. What I focused on in the scene was distinctly fuzzy, and the only parts of the scene that were in focus were significantly closer to the camera than the point I focused on. This behavior got WORSE when the lens was stopped down to f8. I returned this lens to Adorama it for a refund.

Terrific lens

This is the best wide-angle lens I've ever used. I'd bought a Sigma 10-20 mm at a reasonable price earlier in the year, but the color wasn't nearly as sharp as it is with the Nikon. It's another good example of paying the extra money for the best without taking the unnecessary step and finding that you have an extra lens you won't use again.

Like this lens a lot!

I purchased this lens about a year ago as a refurbished lens from Nikon. As a real estate broker that would rather invest in my own equipment than hire a photographer for real estate photos, I needed a very wide angle lens to work with my then D5200 and now also my D7200, this lens is perfect for that, I have also found it to be a fun, recreational and creative lens. I recommend it.

Extremely Sharp and Well Sized for Travel

I recently tested my Nikkor 10-24 mm DX ultra wide angle zoom lens on my new Nikon D500 camera body, at the Palomar Observatory in Northern San Diego County, California, to determine if I would take this lens to India and Nepal for sweeping panoramic views of the Himalaya Mountain Range. This lens has proven to be tack sharp on the Nikon D500 and responds well to the low light capabilities of the camera. See the captions for the two photos I have posted for exposure information.

Brilliant lens, outstanding image quality

By cropdaddy

Bought one of these second hand and I´m addicted to it... it´s a superb, tack sharp and free of CA lens, and it has given my love for photography a big boost. This lens is brilliant!

Excellent for landscapes

By stanleymcp

I was concerned that this lens may be too wide and put everything too far off in the distance. I was wrong. I probably use this as much as my 18-200. I've found that it is a great lens for hiking the Sierra.
