I had a pair of these binocs for over 20 years. They were used for big game hunting and always proved to be of excellent quality for their compact size. They finally wore out. Nikon replaced them without question honoring a life time warranty. I have always had excellent service from Nikon. I will always buy optics from them.

Binocs are no good sitting in the truck. These compacts are easy to carry in a backpack or pocket, and still give decent performance when needed. Have owned several compact binoculars over the years and most leave you wondering what you spent your money on. These glasses do the job.

Perfect size to keep close by or on your neck. Easily focused and lightweight. I keep them close by all day to identify the birds visiting my yard.

I originally ordered these binoculars on Amazon and when I received them the eye piece protectors seemed a bit loose. I contacted Adorama and the return was seemless. I've had a pair of these for many years and bought a pair for my wife, which were stolen and replaced with the newest model. I liked the advancements so much I bought a new pair for an upcoming kayak trip. I like the click stop eyepiece adjustment, they seem sharper and brighter, and they focus a touch closer. They get my vote for backpacking and general travel.

The size of these is great for bringing them along on any activity. They are very clear and work well with items very close too. I got the 10x and am finding it easy to focus on birds without noticable shake.

EXcellent optic!! The 12 power gives you stunningly crisp view. I've seen a drop of water held in the beak of a stellars jay 30 feet away. And near field focus distance about 8 feet - amazing. Of course, with that much magnification, a steady hold can be a problem, but with even the simplest walking stick that problem is reduced. The focus adjusting ring on the right side lens is slightly difficult to turn - which is good for keeping your settings from changing as you handle the binocs, but sharing with someone with different vision a bother. Buy them their own pair, these are a bargain. The center focus is positive, which is good, as depth of field at 12 power is sensitive. The picture isn't big. But the weight of 12x50 lenses is offset by the light weight and compact size of these 12x25s - - practice keeping your object in view as you bring binocs up, rather than scanning around looking through them. Again, the optics are astonishingly good. You could pay ten times as much and I don't think you would find much improvement. You can't get around the fact that a compact binocular is just not going to have a big enough picture for following moving objects easily. Spend some time practicing at acquiring your object near and far before going out birding - - better to have trouble spotting that pine cone while learning than losing sight of that WoolyFootedPickleDropper you've been stalking for months!

I purchased this Nikon Travelite VI binocular as a replacement for my older 1990s-era binoculars. The Travelite does not disappoint. The body feels solid and sturdy, the textured grip is wonderful. The Travelite seems to be one of Nikon's more compact binoculars. It's fairly lightweight but does not feel cheap. The optical quality is what you would expect from a Nikon lens, sharp and clear. The 10x25 model is just perfect for me, a good combination of field of view and magnification. Yes, it's possible to get a different model with a stronger magnification, but your field of view will likely be limited. This one is perfect for most casual uses like concerts and sports events, as well as bird-watching and outdoor scenery. You can find more expensive binoculars with advanced features, but this Travelite has solid essential features for a good price.

I purchased these to replace a full size binocular I lost. I was concerned I would have trouble using small travel size binoculars. I was wrong. So far I have only used them at the house looking at birds and deer. Our yard backs on to open space and I can clearly read the stop sign that is over 700ft away. These are sharp, easy to focus, easy to hold steady and seem quite adequate in low light after sunset. The first real test will be a trip in January.

I like to watch the wildlife in our backyard and these are perfect for catching our resident Eagle flying in the trees. They are clear and the distance is great. It is a little difficult to focus in and keep them steady enough, but that is something that I was aware of before buying them.

My wife and I use binoculars for bird watching and sporting events.The Travelite is an excellent size and the 10x25 power is a super asset in a small package. It's better than our present 10x50 power that shakes and is hard to hold for long periods.

Got these after much research-used them on Montana antelope hunt a week later-great for spotting animals 1 to 1 1/2 miles away-bright lenses, great clarity,diopter stays in place with click adjustment. Also great for general viewing.Super lightweight, really nice to carry around, you forget they are around your neck. I would absolutely buy these again.
