I stepped up to the ProStaff 7S from a good set of Travelight bins. The 7S 10x30 hits a sweet spot of delivering good viewing in a compact case weighing just under 1 pound. I am a birder in the West, where long views are the norm. The 10-power offers good focus at long distances, and the objective lens is wide enough for dawn to dusk viewing. Very happy with this binocular.

I use these binoculars for birding and they are excellent! I have no complaints or issues with them at all and the lifetime warranty on Nikon products holds up over the years! I have owned this particular brand of binoculars for several years and every time repair has been needed Nikon fixed the issue free of charge before sending my product back to me. I am very pleased with this product and company and will continue to use Nikon products on my future adventures!

All around great features at this price point. Compact, attractive, waterproof (1M), fog free, o-ring seals, nitrogen gas. These binoculars function very well with decent eye relief, exit pupil, with eye cups for quick easy viewing. Comes with case and strap.

I bought these when a Nikon rifle scope went bad. They no longer make the scope product so they gave me a generous voucher to use. Great ergonomics and the rubberized surface feels good to your grip. As sharp and clear an image as you will find on any binocular in this price range. Better than many more expensive ones. Dinged one star because of the terrible objective lens covers. They were bound to be lost and sure enough, while out birding, one disappeared. I've found a replacement product elsewhere on line that I have used before that should work like a lens cover should.

My wife didn't think she needed new binoculars for our birding outings until she got these. They are bright, clear and easy to focus. You can spend a lot more for binoculars, but I think this is the sweet spot between price and features.

Great set of binoculars. I've been using nikon products since I can remember and I've pretty much never been disappointed. I also have some higher end vortex binos and these are comparable in terms of glass quality. I might venture to say these have even better glass although they are a fraction of the cost.

12 months ago I purchased a Prostaff 7S 8x30 while on holiday in Europe, I liked the compact size for carrying around but mostly I liked the clarity and easy focus. So they are good for viewing sports, hunting (small game - rabbits) out to 150 yards but especially for birding (the tweety flying type). Definitely recommended for the money and hope to be able to try the Monarch at some stage.

I bought these right before my trip to yellowstone, and was so happy with how compact and easy to use they were! I could see so much detail of the animals at a safe distance. I also like that they come with all the needed accessories in one package. The only problem that I had was that the lens covers that attach to the strap pop off really easily. I am pretty careful, and lost a lens cover pretty early on in the trip, and spent the rest of a trip paranoid about the other one popping off. For the investment I made in such great binoculars, I would hate for the lens to be scratched because of such a simple issue. I would definitely recommend these binoculars, but save yourself some stress and just preemptively buy extra lens covers to pack with just in case.

Over the last 60years I have used many binoculars. Swarovski, Leitz, Leica. The Nikon Prostaff 7s was recommended to me by a friend and I can honestly say they are the best so far. A pleasure every time I use them.

These binoculars perform as well as others I have used that cost much more. The focus is very responsive and the result is a very clear image all the way to the edge. We have had no problems in low light and these have proven to be very durable. Highly recommend!

this is a very good product works great is water proof and is very well engineered. the only down side is rubber coating around plastic housing is not well adhering thus coming loos and makes a good product look bad.

Placing the order was easy, the price was low and included shipping, the binoculars arrived within three days and I love them. I’ve used binoculars since I was a kid I killed my first buck at 6 years old! These are worth the buy so much more comfortable on the eye than even high dollar glass! Very good for scouting ducks or deer, that will be what I use them for anyway .

Bought these for scouting waterfowl and general spotting, and I am rather impressed by the quality coming from sub $200 set of glass! I love this set of glass, i would put these up against my best friends Leupold 10x50 full frame that he spent over $400 on. My only complaint is that the big caps don’t fit too well, but I don’t take these into the field often so they stay rather clean anyhow. Very satisfied with the purchase.
