We use these looking into the Redwood forest and spotting whales offshore. Clarity is great plus gives good distance. They are borderline a bit 'bouncy' at long distance but the Tri pod satisfies this. This is our 2nd pair.

I have been looking for these binoculars for a while since I had first hand knowledge of how durable they are. Outstanding optics! Great for daytime observing but even better for night time stargazing. Easily see the moons around Jupiter. These are a little heavier than my 7X35 but well worth the extra weight. They are also well built and appear to meet the published specs in every way. Highly recommend to anyone.

I am reviewing the 10x50 version. The binoculars work great! The bottom lens caps are a bit of a pain, but I can't think of a better solution so it may be a problem with no good solution. They are super crisp, pretty light, and I am super happy with them.

I'm guessing that my first set of Nikon Shoreline 7 X 50 binoculars around 1985- 35 years old ain't so bad! This new set of eyes are remarkable. The quality is great, Nikon is the benchmark. was a great choice,,very clear vision. my wife and her girlfriends used them at the beach for a week ,,looked offshore at ships and other structures. They withstood 7 old women at the beach for a week,,they're pretty tough binoculars.

I just got these and I'm extremely happy with how they feel in your hands. They are well-balanced, easy to hold, and the rubber coating gives you a good grip. I love the twist and click eyecups and the tripod socket. Views are sharp and bright and I also like the wide field of view. These are a winner!

I live on a Great Lakes north, south bird migration route. It's a flyway for bird watching, I can identify them easily with the clarity and brightness of these NIkon binoculars. I also work on lake freighters and they work great in that environment. I haven't had to use the "waterproof" feature yet. I hope I never have to test that feature. I'm sure they'd be fine. I just wouldn't want to drop them off the ship and watch my "waterproof" Nikon binoculars float peacefully off into the sunset. I wasn't sure about the handheld stability with the 10X50 lens power, but I haven't had problem at all with it. I think the clarity and brightness of the lens make up for any stability issue.

My first 10x binoculars. The far field view is excellent. It's kinda heavy and may be hard to hold for a long period. The construction is solid and feels good.

They are larger than other 10X50 binoculars I have, But they are far superior in image quality, and build quality as well. I own a D7000 camera and have pretty high expectations from my Nikon equipment. These binoculars do not disappoint.

For the size I was suprised of it's light weight. Viewing stars in light polutted area was ok for me as a beginner. Bird watching is the best. The quality of the lenses and crisp viewing is excellent

Got these after doing some research on good astronomy binoculars. They work very well. I really like the wide field of view. The only con is that they are a little heavy to hold by hand, but I think all binoculars of this class are.
