I purchased this lens to go with a D7500 body. I was amazed at the quality of the build of the lens, the smoothness of operation and the sharpness of the photos. It was very easy to use as well.

The 18-300mm lens was put on a FTZ adapter for my new Nikon Z7. The result was washed out and blurry. I ended up sticking with my Canon Mark II

Lens showed up with not a mark on it, so it's really hard to distinguish from brand new. Lens works well. My old lens had crapped out on me and clicked out when trying to focus on infinity. I'll probably send it in to get it refurbished.

I love the functionality of the Nikon 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED IF AF-S DX VR . The biggest problem I have is that when the lense is set a no zoom, one corner has a pretty dark vignette spot. It goes away with about a quarter turn of the zoom. But many pictures have been essentially ruined because I can not actually use the full frame.

I needed to update my worn out 18-200 and found I always wished for a bit more reach on the telephoto end so this was a no brainer. I haven't been disappointed. Wish it came with a lens hood.

I own the Tamron 18-200mm zoom, Tamron 18- 270mm zoom, and the Nikon 18-300mm zoom. Although I DO LIKE Tamron lenses, the Nikon is a little faster, and quite a bit sharper than the Tamron lenses. This lens is on my Nikon D7100 ninety percent of the time, and it is a fantastic travel lens. The refurbished lens I received from Adorama was like brand new. Kudos to the Adorama service department for the prompt and courteous way they helped me resolve a problem, when I called.

This is my second of these lenses, this one for a second camera. The first was bought new. The refurbished is identical in every way -- nothing to show it was ever used, still works just as well.

Nikon is NIKON. There is not much to add there. This is the third or fourth purchase from ADORAMA and I would by from them whenever I can.

I hesitated on buying a refurbished lens as the savings did not seem that great. I was pleased to see though that there was no difference between it and a new lens. It came with all the same accessories and lived up to all expectations. It was great because I had just spent a bundle on a new DSLR for my wife and she claimed my old lens so I got to step up without breaking the bank.

The outstanding All-in-One telephoto zoom AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR Lens . Surprisingly compact and lightweight for a 16.7x zoom lens, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR draws great performance from Nikon DX-format D-SLRs and is a highly versatile second lens. Shoot wide-angle scenic landscapes and group photos, portraits with softly blurred backgrounds, super-telephoto close-ups and everything in between if you can see it, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR can capture it. Optimized for shooting both stills and HD videos, it features specialized Vibration Reduction technology for tack-sharp photos and steady videos, even when your hands are a bit shaky. And since it's a NIKKOR, it features some of the best optics available. Whether you're looking for maximum versatility in a lens or you're just the kind of photographer who finds inspiration all around, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR will help you capture more of life's great views.
