Nikon 6x15 Bond glass

I bought these to replace a fifty year old pair that had finally died of old age after surviving most of the fifty states, Canada, two trips to Europe and riding a motorcycle into the ground. They are small, handy and perform way above their weight class.

Wonderful both as opera glasses and for hiking

This is our second pair of these, as my son has taken over the first. They are light and comfortable to use, easy to carry anywhere, a reasonable power for using at concerts and plays, and well constructed out of metal. (Our first pair is actually titanium, which Nikon used when these were originally released, so they are better looking, but the new ones are the same design and work equally well.)

Yes, they're tiny

These are small, and the image is quite good. There is no way they will take the place of full-sized binoculars since they are not as bright nor as easy to use. Since these are so small, they must be looked through with care to line them up exactly over the eye. They look cool, and their shirt-pocket size means they are easy to take anywhere. I intend to use them for travel and everyday outings since they are so easy to bring along. The case (which is leather but could well be vinyl) would be better if it didn't require inverting the binoculars each time they are removed or replaced. Although they are quite pricey, I've never seen a binocular like them and am satisfied with their convenience.

The Nikon 6x15 SE is a modern version of Nikon's very first consumer binoculars.

While The Nikon 6x15 Special Anniversary Edition Black Binocular looks identical to their uiquely shaped original 7x15 Binoculars introduced in 1917, This 7 x 15 Anniversary Edition binocular has been updated by the use of Nikon modern lenses, anti-reflective lens coatings and today's high grade structural materials and construction methods. The Nikon Binocular features tough, all metal construction, BaK4 prisms and multi-coated lenses to provide the user with bright, sharp clear viewing.
