Robust pair of low cost optics. Love the 9+ degree fov. Very comfortable and easy to get full FOV with minimal eye effort. Strongly recommend for a pir of field binoculars.

My first pair of binoculars and they’re perfect for my needs. Solid and quality glass for watching wildlife and other things. The eyepieces move up and down a little too easily but it’s not an issue. Can’t go wrong with these.

Took it on a safari in Africa, and found it crisp clear and got us really close to the animals. There are no doubt lighter pairs, but very happy with it.

I used these to spot orcas off Vancouver. They are easy to use, you can scan the horizon, and there is no eye fatigue even with glasses. Also, they came quickly.

It is light than I thought. Iwear glasses, but can look without view becoming small. Irecommend the purchase of the tripod adapter for a long time because I am tired when I peep out.

We were replacing a pair of 7X35 older binoculars...we can not believe how much clearer and easier to use these are. The coating on the outside has a good feel to your hands. Focusing is very easy. The weight of these are in context with the other 7X35's we are replacing. If you go larger than 8X40 you get more weight, larger size and narrower view. We really love these binoculars.

I think Nikon has lost it. I purchased knowing they were very heavy for their size, but thought I could get used to their weight because they might be tough enough to last. "Action Extreme" and all. Not tough enough however to tolerate the removal of the ocular lens caps, as this broke one of the eye cups. It pulled right off with the cap. They are about three months old and have been used every other day or so. That is approximately 45 ocular cap removals before they broke. I was able to put it back on, but now it just flops around. Upon looking with a microscope, you can see a tiny notch in the ocular surround that must have held something equally tiny that engaged one of the three slots in the eye cup. I don't believe this is a quality control issue, but rather, just a very poor design. How soon before they break again? I think I will just come up with my own fix.
