I am an amateur photographer. bought this pair of binos for watching birds in my backyard, to make plans to get myself and my camera close to them. It's infinitely better than my old pair of Red Hat. The focusing is fast and smooth, the minimum focusing distance is really close enough. at that distance you can simply use your naked eyes. I use it to tell which bird eats what (grains, seeds or bugs?) I care mostly about the optical quality. At this price range, i have nothing to complain. it exceeds my expectation.
